Import Kindle2 into Malaysia

I understand how frustrated it is when you know something good is out there but could not buy it just because the system does not allow you to. I got through so much hassle getting a Kindle in Japan when it was first launched in the US. Thank god the Kindle now ships to Japan. :-)

I figure I can put myself to use by exploiting my staying in Japan and having registered with Amazon US & Japan.

3.3) Purchase of other Amazon accessories and send it to you.
3.4) Continuing support of buying additional Giftcards and accessories even after Kindle delivery.
4) Cost of transaction : Buyers bear the following costs
4.1) Cost of the Kindle2
4.2) Postage from US to Japan and then to Malaysia
4.3) Import duty when bringing the Kindle2 into Japan.
4.4) A 20% of the total cost mentioned above (4.1 + 4.2 + 4.3) as handling fees
4.5) Import duty when bringing the Kindle2 into Malaysia(if applicable)
5) Currency of transation : USD or JPY

6.1) Kindle 2 now ships for USD259
6.2) Postage from US to Japan is USD 21
6.3) Import duty incurred in Japan is USD15
TOTAL cost of bringing Kindle2 into Japan is about USD295.

I want to make the transaction as transparent as possible. I dont want to give you a blackbox price and take a margin from it.
