Hi LYN,

I'm currently in the midst of process to sell my current daily but at the same time experiencing hiccup regarding the offer price since I use Carlist & Carsome as reference point for setting the benchmark for the price.

here are my details

1. Brand : Perodua
2. Model : ATIVA AV 1.0
3. Year Manu: 2021
4. Mileage : 100,000 - 110,000 km (NOT Ride hailing)
5. Target selling price : within range from RM50k-54k (based on carlist & Carsome with similar condition)

Here some of the information I have receive so far

a. Carsome online evaluation : Fair condition estimate 39k - Excellent condition 45k
b. Carro offer : Final after bid is 41K

If go ahead with above, I need to top-up quite a lot to clear my outstanding balance with bank.
apart from above, where can I try to sell my car with higher offer? I need to let go my current car before end of this month (January 2025)

Hi Everyone

I'm actually in interested in pursuing Law Master Degree however there few things I just want to find out more from here. Here are my quick overview

I've graduated from biotechnology (Hons) and currently have a 5 years working experience under my belt however I'm now plan to move up for my career growth but facing a dilemma at the same time.

a. If i want to change to my career but my current degree not really offering much in term of salary unless I've some sort of additional skill or related studies.
b. Working as Sales Exec, commission base is no longer my forte and tiring as days goes by. I plan to switch position with work-life balance but that would be sacrificing at the expense of salary.

From there I realize, I need to at least have another set of certificate so that I can have better option in term of career and I've chose Master of Law for my next certificate since I do have some Law books (Malaysia Law) material that I can read from time to time and a reference from Family.

a. Can a non-law degree pursue Master of Law in Malaysia? (Public or Private)
b. What would be an alternative for law studies that non-LLB can apply at?
c. Does Bachelor Jurisprudence is a good alternative?

Feel free to share other point.

A man in Lumajang, Indonesia was recently charged with raping his daughter since 2015

The victim is Sugeng's child from his second marriage. The married man has four ex-wives, all of whom are domestic helpers working abroad, Coconuts Jakarta reported.

On Monday, 29 July, Sugeng Slamet booked a hotel room so that he could have sex with his daughter

He had allegedly forced himself on her at least 50 times since 2015, when she was sixteen years old.

However, the 20-year-old managed to escape the hotel room.

She reported her father to the police and he was soon apprehended by authorities.

On the following day, the 44-year-old was taken into police custody where he admitted that watching pornography frequently led him to the sexual acts

While in jail, Sugeng's situation took an unexpected turn.

"It was only Tuesday evening that he was put inside a cell in Lumajang Police HQ, but by morning he was already clobbered," Lumajang Police Chief Muhammad Arsal Sahban said in a statement, according to Vivanews.

The police chief revealed that "the other prisoners assaulted him after finding out what he did"

"There are a variety of prisoners here, such as those who stole motorcycles, thieves, and even violent muggers. But none of them are as vile as Sugeng, who slept with his own daughter," he added.

Since police officers conduct hourly checks of the cells, it is likely that the man was assaulted between inspections.

After sustaining bruises all over his face and body, Sugeng was moved to solitary detention for his own protection.

Those convicted for violating Indonesia's Child Protection Law may face up to 15 years in prison and a fine up to IDR5 billion (RM1,474,289).

I've check, it nearby the new Tabung Haji hotel there (beside masjid KLIA)

the price quite okay compared to standard parking at KLIA.

Is it safe? Is there any issue I need to be prepared with?

I wanna ask about Maxis and NJOI combination

At the moment, my house still use UNIFI ISP 30Mbps (RM210 incl tax)
TM recently announce 300mbps for RM199
KNN, mine still not upgrade suddenly come out new plan

so i thought of port to Maxis Fibre
100mbps for RM129
since i'm a Maxis user, so most probably upgrade to Prime user
and my parent will be under me (all of them are maxis user)

so what do you think about this? I also collecting reviews from Maxis Fibre Thread

secondly, since my UNIFI came with HyppTV, so by terminate the UNIFI, i can no longer use HyppTV
So i thought wanna buy the NJOI services

here is the thing, i do not know anything about NJOI.

1. is it one time payment ( price around RM3xx, correct?)

2. since it mention prepaid, can it be auto-debit for some of the pek package?

3. the satellite dish can piggy-back my house Astro dish or they need to install new dish?

Lastly, by doing this, is this consider cost saving?

HI

Good morning. Not sure here is the best area to ask but i need some insight regarding working under Occupational safety and Health Administration.

Here are the summary:

1. I've came from a Biotech Degree programmed and currently working under sales department for biochemicals (1 yr experience)

2. I don't feel my Biotech cert actually useful at the moment and it kinda waste like that

3. I'm seriously thinking of amending my mistake which I didn't pursue previously, i choose biotech over OSHA programmed 4 yrs ago and now i'm really depressed because of the mistake I made

4. I'm currently eyeing to pursue Safety, Health and Environmental Management Msc.

5. May I know anyone from NIOSH/DOSH think that if I pursue my Master, possible to work with any competent firms once I graduated(as I'm targeting environmental area such hygiene, noise, pollution and etc) or i need to go for the training with NIOSH first?

6. I did learn environmental sustainability during my Biotech study

Let me know because currently I'm doing the research for that career path

Plan to do the master this year.

Hope anyone can provide me some information.
