Setting up ethernet wall port

Hi all, just moved my desktop into my room recently. Need help on getting the wall port to work as the wifi is very bad in my house.

Right now the BTU is on the wall,

Shop that buys Diecast/Toys/Collectibles

Hi everyone, anyone know any shop (or anyone) that would buy second hand toys?

I have a lot of diecast (scale ranging from 1:12 - 1:200) and collectible items (toy soldiers, robots, figurines, etc) that I need to let go all of it, which is just too much for me to post and take picture one by one. Best if I could just sell all in bulk.

Any suggestions? Anyone who interested can stop by my office and have a look too.

Just bought my computer hardwares at Lowyat today, but my computer not working after I finish assembling it.

-monitor show "Check Signal Cable" even I had plugged into the GPU
-GPU, fans are running (not sure about harddisk)
-no beep sound?
-is it normal to apply pressure while installing the CPU?

Please help, what's the problem?

Choosing a MOBO

Hi, I'm building a new rig, but I found out my previous build with MSI X-58 Pro-E mobo have high IOH temp! Is it because of faulty batch or every MSI X-58 Pro-E are like that?

Regarding that, is there any other mobo options left for me(1366 socket for my i7-930)? Budget/price are around the same MSI X-58 Pro-E.

Hi all,

I'm really outdated since the last time I bought my desktop. I had surf through some of the posts here in LYN but still confuse bout it.

Basically I what I wanted to do with my rig is probably more to designing. 3D modelling & rendering, photo editing and high-resolution post processing, and all sorts of things related to designing.

Hopefully the build is sufficient enough to play latest/high-resolution games & multitasking.

Exclude Mouse, Keyboard and Speaker.

- High-end GPU. Preferably ATI.
- An Intel Core i7 920? I heard it can be overclocked to be same as a Intel Core i7 975?
- 4GB-8GB ram

That's what currently in my mind. Sorry I don't have a specific list.

Budget is RM5k. Hope you guys can help me out with this.
