A talk on Law Degree from NUS

Biomedical Sciences Talk

Here's an event for students who are interested in pursuing biomedical sciences:

There will be a meet-up session with Chau Deming, a graduate student from Cornell University. He would like to share his experiences in research in the biomedical sciences with students who hold the same interests.

Chau Deming was a former student at INTI College and transferred to the University of Wisconsin, Madison before he started pursuing his PhD in biomedical science in Cornell University, Ithaca in 2004.

He has researched on cancer research utilizing biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, and immunology technique and specifically, the elucidation of the function of gamma-secretase in cancer development.

He has worked in three different labs during college, first in the immunology department, followed by the food science department, and finally in the pharmaceutical science department.

The details of the event are as follows:

Venue: Starbucks outlet at SS15 Subang Jaya (opposite Taylor's College)
Date: 9th November (Friday)
Time: 2-4pm

Giving out A level Biology Books

hey guys.. I am not sure this will be the correct thread.

Moderator, please move this wherever appropriate. I just did my spring cleaning last week and found out that I still got some textbooks (mainly) for A level Biology. Do PM me if any of you guys interested. I am willing to just give it out away for free. No use for me anymore.

Mock Interview Event

Anyone watched it before? It is another novel adaptation from the same author for Ima Ai ni Yukimasu. The girl is the same girl for Nana. Aoi Miyazaki! She is so cute after transformation.

If want to watch some good Japanese movies, this will be one of them. Of course I still love Ima Ai ni Yukimasu (Be with you).

Can't turn on the computer

How lucky am I to get a crashed computer just few days before CNY.

Anyway, here it goes.

There was a cut of power few days back. After that, I tried to on my computer and it can't work at all. Just flashing the yellow light.

It has happened several times. Sometimes I can just on it after few tries.

So is it the motherboard problem or the power supply?

Anyone watched it before? It is really special anime. It is just a 22 minutes movie. Similar with Hoshi no Koe (Voices of a Distant Star).

I just love the soundtrack of this Pale Cocoon! It is a MUST anime to watch! Well defined storyline with great animation.
