New Job or Stay?

Current job
- Project Manager
- Salary RM18k/mth
- To cover operation in Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. 30% of time outside of country.
- Been working here for 10 years++
- MNC company. A lot of resources.
- Chance to grow limited. A lot of competition.
- Director reluctant to let me go. Difficult to find new guys with experiences.

New Offer
- Project Manager
- Salary RM15k/mth + performance bonus
- To cover operation in Malaysia only (Site allowance provided)
- 5 years old company but with enough resources to compete. They just invested in a new equipment.
- Company grow means you will grow. it is a one man show.
- The existing team consist of ex colleague. No issue to adapt.
- Director need my experience and contact to expand.

My mind is set for the new adventure. Less travel and smaller team (less competition) is the main reason.

Any reason to think otherwise?

Ford Focus + Starex = ?

I am currently driving Ford Focus bought in 2013. My mother have a Hyundai Starex also bought in the same year.

I have company cars so I rarely use both of them. Plan to sell both and get 1 car that fit criteria of both Ford and Starex. At the same time can reduce monthly payment and maintenance.

Starex - Big car

Job opportunity gone

My friend got a job offer to work in Oz. He sign the contract and wait visa application, medical and all sort of things.

While waiting for the time to start the job, somehow police raided the place he stay and remanded him for 4 days.
The company he sign the contract try to call him in this 4 days and unable to reach him.

After released he contacted the company and been told that he don't have the job anymore. Also due to the case still under investigation, he is due to attend court hearing in few weeks time. Not sure maybe he cannot go out of the country before the case solved.

Assuming he is not guilty when the verdict is out.

What can we do with this;

1. He lost the job opportunity after investing money and time to get the job.

2. Company he signed contract with is planning to sue him because he is not honoring the contract.

Hi,

I have a house which fully paid. I made full renovation by demolishing the old house built by developer and building a new house on it.

I would like to refinance the properties but the problem is now since the house design did not follow the regulation stated by local authority, I cannot do valuation on it.

Anybody encountering same problem before and can we solve the problem?

I have a house inherited from my late mother. I have renovate and paid the loans for the house and now it is fully own by me. Current value for the house is 140k. Can I refinance it? Need the money to start some business.
