SHAH ALAM 6 Mei – Kenderaan rasmi Ketua Polis Selangor, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar hilang dipercayai dicuri ketika diletakkan di tempat letak kereta berhadapan sebuah restoran di Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah 9/H, Seksyen 9 di sini hari ini.

Kejadian dipercayai berlaku kira-kira pukul 8.15 pagi, ketika anggota polis yang bertugas memandu kereta jenis Perdana V6 berwarna hitam itu sedang bersarapan di restoran tersebut.

Khalid pula tiada di tempat kejadian ketika kecurian berlaku kerana berada di Singapura atas urusan kerja. – Utusan

Loose Ribbon and Missing Wifi

My respected sifus and gurus; I have been asked by a friend to look into the problems of his toshiba laptop. After going through the laptop, I found that the connector/ clips from the power board to the mobo are loose. I manage to get the laptop to boot after a few wiggles, so I concluded that the ribbon and power board are working only that the clips that hold the ribbon in place are loose. Secondly, apparently, the previous owner did not know how to remove the Wifi card and had CUT (yes, not joking) the 2 wires that connects the WiFi card. So my questions are:

1. How can I get around fixing the loose connectors/ clips? I might get away with replacing it with a new power board, but it wont solve the problem of the loose clip at the mobo.

2. Is there a replacement for the WiFi wires as I only need to connector heads to connect it to the new WiFi card. If no, is there any way to fix this problem?
