pre-u courses and jpa scholarships

hey. i need some help and some feedback from people who have done their pre-u and if possible are on JPA scholarship

so the thing is,
i will be sitting for my SPM examinations next month and i plan on enrolling to college for the January intake (mainly because i'm a bummer and 3 months of holiday could do permanent damage to me)

so i was thinking of sunway, mainly because it's nearby, known and convenient for me but i don't know what pre-u course to take in order to score a JPA scholarship. i was thinking about A-levels, mainly because i am honestly only good at exams and since CIMP/AUSMAT/SAM/MUFY are based on coursework marks. i think A-levels would be the best choice. cept that noone i know is encouraging me to take A-levels (no seriously, noone)

so my questions would be..

a) i heard JPA scholarships are being offered to students who get accepted to "ivy league" standard uni's such as melb uni, imperial college and etc. is that true?

b) will it be easier to score a undergraduate scholarship from A-levels or do students taking MUFY/CIMP/etc have equally the same chances?

c) honestly, is A-levels a waste of time? :s

d) what pre-u course would be the best? im planning on going into pharmaceutical chemistry/ pharmacy

e) how are the a-levels lecturers at sunway (bio, chem, maths)

thanks : )
really do appreciate if anyone had taken the time to reply

p/s. i already know the structure of each and every programme thoroughly so now i'm just looking for feedback from experience most esp in a-levels
