Windows 8 problem loading patch application

hi guys,

just purchased a new laptop that came with windows 8. had installed photoshop, autocad all without problem. but with lumion 3.0.1, i had no problem installing. but when i open the patch application, it refuses to load the application completely where the "patch" and "about" button are no where to be seen.

have used this patch file ins Windows 7 and had no problem.

have tried updating adobe flash player, java, all windows update and yet the problem still persist.

would appreciate any advice given.

WTA Asus O!Play TV Pro no audio

Hi guys, hope this is the right place to post my question.

There's no audio from my Asus O!Play TV Pro. Connected to Sony LCD using HDMI.
Have tested the HDMI cable which is working perfectly. And have tried changing to AV cables ( the red withe n yellow cables) also no sound.
Anybody else have the same problem with their media player?

Do advice as I am freaking out as Asus is noted for poor servicing.

Blue Screen and Program Stopped Working Error

Hi all, would like to seek advice from all.

I just bought my new PC a month back. Using pirated Windows 7.

Did not have any problem until i started using Lumion, which is a 3d rendering software, and also the latest Devil May Cry.

I get frequent blue screens, or error which tells me the program stopped working and have to be shut down.

Its really frustrating especially for Lumion when it sometimes crash while i am exporting an animation

to say this is due to using pirated OS, i've been using it all this while and never faced such issue.

does it have anything to do with not updating windows7? as i don't have broadband connection at home and can't update it.

really would appreciate any advise i can get from all forumers.

thinking of getting a new GC.
do alot of 3d and rendering work in sketchup, 3dmax, lumion, and kerkythea.
and also some video editing.

interested in getting Sapphire's HD 7870 and 7850 both OC version.

but some ppl say nvidia is a better choice for 3d works.

hope to get some opinion here.

problem with seagate registration

i'm having a faulty seagate hdd and am seeking for online support.

but i'm having trouble trying to register an account at seagate website.

any password that i put in seem to end up with an error saying Invalid characters or space

following this "Password must be 6-32 characters in length and must contain at least 1 number. Your password IS case sensitive. Example:paSsWorD2"

i've tried everything dy and still can't seem to get a working password.

anybody can help me with this problem?
