VSafe Energy fuel additive

I know this was discussed in an earlier thread and there was a lot of negative vibes in that thread but I did an independant review on their one product : "Power booster" for petrol engines.

It works and it works well. And for RM13.90 for 2 treatments of a 60L tank of petrol, that's value for money.

Have a look : My review on Zerotohundred

Anyone have any comments or questions feel free to fire away.

Strange problem with Dynaudio tweeters

Hi guys,

I have a set of MD100 Dynaudio tweeters which have been giving me problems. Here's the situation :

Sometimes there is no sound at all until I blast the volume close to 85% of the maximum then it crackles to life. But once the volume is reduced back to 60% volume it slowly sputters and dies.

But on some occassions it works 100% perfectly. Sometimes it works fine after the car is parked under the sun for half a day and sometimes it isn't fine.

Right now it's with the repairman and he can't find any problems with it. Tests upon tests on the bench can't replicate the issue. But before sending it for repair, the installers heard it for themselves - it wasn't producing any sound.

Any ideas or feedback on what might be wrong?

Kancil 660 to EFi

I know the question has been asked and I know the answer is the same - convert to L2, but I have no confidence in a 2nd hand chop shop L2 engine. I know my engine and I know the parts are well maintained.

Ok. Now for my question :

I have a 660 carbie Kancil and I'm interested in doing a EFi change over. However I don't think there are any EFi's out there except for the 850 Kancil which has a bigger intake manifold which doesn't fit on the 660 Kancil. Is there any option out there that can let me convert my 660 to EFi? Been thinking about taking parts from the L2 (new) and transplant. ECU will be a standalone.

Ideas? Advice?

Home networking / slow to detect workgroup

I'm not too concerned about my broadband connection as thats working. It's the home connection I have that's giving me headaches.

Desktop 1---> Wireless USB DLINK DWA130 (802.11N) adaptor (Not sure if USB2.0 or not)
Desktop 2---> Direct CAT5 link to router
Router-------> DLINK DIR451 Wireless router (HSPDA + Cingular Aircard PCMCIA 875
ISP-----------> Celcom 3G D98

The network setup is simple.

1. I set my workgroup to HOMENET and both desktop 1 and 2 have been setup on the same workgroup
2. I set static IP (192.168.0.100 for Desktop 1 and 192.168.0.102 for Desktop 2), Subnet (255.255.255.0), Gateway (192.168.0.1) and primary DNS (192.168.0.1).
3. The router is set to default settings and internet settings are per Celcom requirements. Firewall is on and no MAC filtering, etc.
4. Both computers running Windows Firewall and AVG antivirus only.

Why does it take so long for Desktop 1 to see Desktop 2's shared folders and files? Everytime I try to view the workgroup computers it takes at least 20 minutes for the computers to see each other. Sometimes it doesn't even see each other at all.

And why do I get a 100MBps (I know CAT5 can) for network, but wireless max settings is 54MBps only? Even on the router the highest wireless speed settings is 54MBps. Is there a way to speed this up because surfing on a Wireless connection is really slow.

Any assistance is very much appreciated!
