Anyone knows how configure Huawei HG850a?

Anyone knows the proper method to configure Huawei HG850a for UniFi?

I finally upgraded my Streamyx 1MB to UniFi VIP5 and the last-minute-assigned contractor came over to my house to install the devices yesterday afternoon.

What he did was to login to 192.168.100.1 with the telecomadmin/admintelecom combination.
Then he went into "Maintain" -> "Password" and enter a 10 digit password retrieved from his TM order servicing info page.
After then he click the "Maintain" -> "Device" -> "Restore default configuration".
The UniFi service fails to connect from yesterday until now, no config, no VOIP, nothing.

He insisted that this is the correct method to configure the Huawei, but he said he usually configure for Alcatel.
Then he said since it is not working, the unit is faulty & he will collect it from me tomorrow for a replacement from TM Point.

As far as I know, normally when you click on "Restore default config" on any modem or router, for sure it will clear off any configurations and reset back to factory default.

Anyone know whether his method is correct? Or he is just clueless about the Huawei?
Also can anyone please upload their working HG850a configuration backup file for me to try out? Thank you in advance.

Unifi DIR-615 v7.12 superadmin password.

This morning I finally get to play with the new UniFi DIR-615 modem with v7.12 firmware.
I checked & found the "operator" username don't exist for the v7.12 firmware, it has been replaced.

Superadmin ID : Management
Password : TestingR2

User ID : admin
Password : <blank/empty/none>

New IP address range from TM Net (118.100x.x)

I noticed this morning that my IP address is 118.100.x.x instead of my regular 219.x.x.x or 218.x.x.x
Now that I'm in the office, my company's IP too has changed to this range.

Wonder if it is related to TM Net's anti-spam effort described in :

It may be a coincidence, but I can't access my Granado Espada game and the official GE forums.

Anyone noticed this IP change and did anyone have connectivity issues related to this new IP range?
