Where can I repair my Filco Bluetooth keyboard?

Hi guys,

This would be my first time asking questions here. I've got a Filco Minila Air (Bluetooth) keyboard and somehow it wouldn't switch on. I think it might just be a simple ON/OFF switch issue but I'm not an electrical engineer so I might be wrong. I need to get it fixed. Any of you here know where I can send it for repair? Preferably somewhere in Damansara area. Any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Been slowly upgrading my system so now I'm not sure if I need a PSU upgrade or not. My current PSU is an Aerocool KCAS 500W. Need your advice. My setup:

i5 4460
Gigabyte z87-d3hp mobo
Asus Strix GTX 970
HyperX Savage 8gb 1600 RAM
Kingston V300 120GB SSD
3x 140mm pwm fans
1x 120mm pwm fan

Can I still use a 500W PSU? If I need to upgrade, what would be the recommended wattage?

Hi guys, I just started getting into the PC building world, and I have a question.

I have an Asus B85 Trooper mobo. I downloaded GPU-Z and I noticed that under the 'Bus Interface' section, it says that I'm running a PCI-E 3.0 x 16 @ x16 1.1.

When I hover my mouse over it, it says that my graphics card can support v3.0 but it mentions that it is currently running at v1.1.

What does this mean? Can I upgrade to v3.0? I went to Asus' website and it states there that my Asus B85 Trooper does have a PCI-E 3.0 (Gen 3). The GPU is in the correct slot. What's the deal here? Help!

Kenari Engine Problem

Hi guys,

I hope I'm posting this in the right forum, because I need help with my car.

I just sent my kenari to P2 SC to do a major service, it's past 120k mileage already. While I was doing that, I remember another mechanic told me last time that my head cover needs changing because the spark plug area was wet with oil. He said its not a gasket problem but an 'O' ring around the spark plug area problem. He said maybe the seal is alrdy hardened and needs replacing. No other way but to change the head cover.

So yesterday when I did the major service at P2 SC, I told them to look into this and they said yes, I need my engine head cover changed. I said OK go ahead. Other services include ATF change (perodua own), engine oil (LiquiMoly), braking system service, engine mounting replaced (I requested for this) and the other usual stuff like oil filter, air filter etc.

So I got my car back from the P2 SC yesterday and the first thing i noticed was the rough whizzing sound from the engine. It's very noticeable when you're inside the car but not very noticeable when you are outside even with the bonnet up. I thought it's probably temporary.

Today the problem persist, and it got worse! I experience some jerking and loss of power at random times when driving. Sometimes even stalling! Never have I experienced an Auto car stalled!

I checked the dip stick, and it seemed like they have over poured the engine oil. Way above the F line. And I also saw some oil stains near the pulley cover area. I'm not sure if its a new leak or the leak from before. There is no immediate indication of oil drips on the floor of my garage as of now.

Can someone please tell me what could be wrong with my car so when I take my car back to P2 SC, at least I have some idea of what to expect from them. Your help would be much appreciated.

TLDR: Did a major service - changed engine head cover, engine oil (LiquiMoly), ATF, brake fluid. Now my car gives a funny rough whizzing sound, jerks and loss of power and even stalling! What may cause this problem? HELP!

i just wanna gather some info about budget 10" SQ subs. can list out a few brands and model? i think its safe to say a budget sub should probably be retailed at RM500 and below hehe.
i feel that this thread may be useful for SQ beginners who might wanna invest in a good budget SQ subs its easy to find info on budget component sets but its harder to find info on budget SQ subs. hope you guys can help.

Im planning to DIY some speaker baffle for my 5"s. So is there any advice on how to do one? I will only have a budget for the MDF type not the aluminium. what will be the best thickness? do i need to do layering? etc etc. please advice. thanks!

powering the sub

hey guys ive installed my HU and its eargasmic!!!! couldn't be more satisfied with it hehehe. but yea i found out the amp powering my sub is broke. one of the output is kaput. the shop tested it out no wonder when i balance to the right the sub makes no sound. only left got sound. so i think tmr im planning to pry open the amp see what's what. its a cap ayam one so its ok la.

which is the reason why i asked abt the rms of the sub. can i get a 4ch amp can it power the sub? im scared it might not get enuf power and amp will over heat to fulfil the sub's wattage. most 4ch amp is rated between 50w rms to 100w rms. so will that be enuff to power the sub? i dont know my sub's rms rating. its a sony xplod 12" rated at 800w peak.
