Desktop Icon Become Highlighted

I'm doing my project when i paste a picture into the desktop, my icons become highlighted and cannot be removed no matter what i try including refreshing the desktop. There is also some kind of pop-up window stating something like active desktop after pasting the picture. Pls give advice, thx.

Crackling sound

This annoying sound started when i start to play some games, example assassin's creed. Sometimes it works fine but when into the middle of the game it lets out crackling and lagging sound. I have no problem listening to music and videos. It only happens when i play certain games. Pls help, thx.

P/S: I'm using P5KPL-AM motherboard and a HD4670 GC

Mouse Problem

My mouse sometimes double click even though i only single click it. It bothers me as i always end up opening folder that i dont want. How to solve this problem?

P/S: I have not enable the single click to open an item.

This is my current pc specs and i hope to upgrade the gc:

Processor : Pentium 4
Motherboard : P5KPL-AM
Power Supply : 420 watt
Currently using Intel GMA 3100 and G33/G31 family chipset

Is it okay to install the gc without any problem? Is there any need of changing BIOS? Or just plug and install the driver?

I would like to buy a graphic card but my budget is RM200 and below. Below are my com specs:

Processor : Pentium 4
Motherboard : P5KPL-AM
RAM : 2GB DDR2

I think that my power supply is a normal one and is not enough for great gaming card so i prefer a suitable one as long as i can play some game such as left for dead, call of duty 4....

I'll be installing this card on my own so i would like to know if there will require any BIOS change? Please advice me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. THX
