Maxis iPhone 4 carrier.plist request

First and foremost, my sincerest apologies to the Mod's here for starting yet another thread. However, I will be leaving the country very soon and I would like to have this issue resolved before that comes about. Having said that, my problems are as follows:

iPhone Generation : iPhone 4
Unlocked? : Yes, it is a Maxis unit
Current Firmware : 4.3.2 (8H7)
Current network: T-Mobile (currently in the 'States)
iTunes Version : 10.2.2.12
PC/MAC : PC
Jailbreaking software : redsn0w

Problem Encountered : FaceTime unable to be activated

I was trying to enable MMS for T-Mobile and in the process, edited some plist files in the unknown.bundle folder (to be honest, I forgot what methods I applied), but in the end I installed a custom IPCC for T-Mobile (which I believe overrode the default unknown.bundle's carrier.plist file). Would any sifu's out there know if replacing the current carrier.plist file in my unknown.bundle with a default one from a unlocked Maxis iPhone help my current situation? I believe it would as when I initially switched to the T-Mobile SIM (and edited nothing), everything worked fine (I could even activate my FaceTime then) and the carrier that was shown in General -> About -> Carrier was 'Carrier 10.0'. What mine shows now is 'T-Mobile 10.0' (as mentioned earlier, I installed a custom T-Mobile IPCC carrier bundle) and I am simply unable to activate FaceTime. I have checked with T-Mobile and international texting is available on my account so I believe something is wrong with the .plist files.

Steps Taken So Far : Google'd for said default unknown.bundle's carrier.plist file to no avail

tl;dr Would all you kind souls out there with a Maxis iPhone4 send me the default/unedited carrier.plist file from your phone's ://System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Unknown.bundle folder?

Past issue [Temporarily Solved]:

Around three weeks or so, me and my busybody hands decided it was time to spring clean my rig, so I did. Removed all detachable drives + PSU + RAM, except for the motherboard and cleaned the filthy system. Several days later, my PC started acting all weird on me. It would suddenly just restart by itself (and yes I've looked at the pinned threads ). I thought it was weird since I did not install any new hardware or software in the past month. So I decided to remove my hardware's one by one. Even with a single HDD, it still tripped.

I then thought it could have been due to a heat issue. But I thought it would be possible, since I just cleaned the system and cleared all the dust in it. I also thought that (for some weird reason) that it was because my PC was under load. So I tested the theory out. I ran Photoshop PS2 + iTUnes + WMP + 4 tabs of Chrome + MSN + Skype and used it for almost half the day and it didn't trip. And then I closed it all and had dinner. When I came back to surf the new, it decided to trip.

Thinking much, I thought it could have been the PSU, which I still think it could be. Oh sifu's, please advice? Is there any way I can ensure that it's the PSU's that bonkers so that I can replace it and have this nightmare over with?

Secondly, I don't know why but today, my PC's all laggy. Just out of the blue laggy. I concluded that it was because it was under full load, which is quite wtf to me. Checked the task manager and found that "services.exe" was hogging all PC resources. Did some online research and could not find any solutions to this (most people have this on W2K, I'm on XP SP2).

I have an original copy of KIS though, which auto-updates itself everyday, and I scan every .zip file and thumbdrive that I plug into the PC before opening, so beats me how it got into the system. :S

I have a hunch that it's a virus/trojan/worm so I did a hijackthis log and the results are in the spoiler. Please help me, this laggyness is driving me nuts.

Hi all techie supportians, sifus, and fellow members of LYN. I'm hoping that you can help me out with these issues.

First and foremost, my tech specs:

C2D E6750
LanParty DK P35
x2 1GB Crucial Ballistic Tracers
8800GTS 320MB
x2 DVD-RW drives
x3 SATA HDD's
Noisetaker 470W
XP SP2

Recently, I got meself a 2.5" Maxtor OneTouch 250GB external HDD (always connected to the motherboard's USB ports, no extensions of splitters). Everything was working perfectly when I first started to use it. However recently, I have had a load of trouble trying to get my Windows to detect the external drive. Eventually after it does, everything would run smoothly for a while before this comes out.

Secondly, could someone assist me as to why my task manager is as such, losing all tabs above it?

Lastly, is my PSU too weak to support my current rig setup? And is that why my external HDD ain't working well (due to lack of power out of the ports).

Any constructive/helpful advice/suggestions/solutions will be enormously, deeply and sincerely appreciated.

[SOLVED] [Networking Issue] Ethernet NIC

Hey all,

Recently my PC has been hit by lightning and as a result of that, my router and printer have both gone. Nontheless, even after getting a new router, I'm still puzzled as to why am I not able to connect to the internet. It struck me as odd as everything should be working fine. Thus, I decided to check my netowrk properties for any irregularities.

(not) To my surprise, I was unable to detect my Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC. I then thought the on board Ethernet port was dead, so I took a network adaptor from a friend and plugged it into the PCI slot. Booted up, thing happened. Strange. Reinserted it to another empty slot, booted up again. Nothing. WHAT?! Got another friend to pass me his, and the results were the same. 2 different PCI slots, 2 different netowrk cards. Results? None of the PCI ports were able to detect the network adaptor.

So to all sifu's, would you mind assisting me to find out the root cause of this problem?

My hardware are as follows :

Gigabyte P35C - DS3R
x2 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC6400
Gigabye 8800GTS 320mb

Problem details
First occurence of problem:
when i started using the new modem

Problem frequency:
everytime i pair the modem with the router

Problem description:
after i changed my spoilt modem (Aztech DSL600E) to the new D-Link unit, i can't seem to be able to connect to the internet. if i use a direct connection from the modem to the PC, everything works fine. my old modem didn't possess this problem. anyone here able to help me? are there any settings that i should set in the modem to allow it to be "paired" with the router?

any construstive replies will be greatly appreciated.

Lamborghini already had an SUV for sale more than 25 years ago and today Porsche's Cayenne is a global success. Ferrari hesitated for a long time but has now decided to develop the world's fastest SUV, or so says our Italian contact with insider info. Our DTP expert than set to work with this information and produced the following renderings. The project has been coded the "Ferrari FS 599 Fuoristrada" and its supposed world debut target date is the Geneva Auto Show 2010.

While the five-door will feature four-wheel drive its off-road capabilities are not among the top priorities of the Ferrari development team. Two-thirds of the engine's power is rumored to be transferred to the wide 22-inch high-performance street tires in the rear.

The engine is familiar and hails from the Ferrari F599 Fiorano, albeit in slightly modified form. Its maximum power output of more than 600 hp and 600 Nm of torque will be a challenge for the size 315 tires front and back.

Despite an empty weight of around 2.2 tons the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is supposed to take less than five seconds, thanks to Formula 1-type shift paddles on the steering wheel. Targeted top speed is 300 km/h.

With a top speed such as this the Ferrari FS 599 Fuoristrada would easily eclipse the performance of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, just as easily as it would eclipse its price at projected 250,000 Euros plus.

hey guys, when i booted my PC up, after detecting the IDE drives, an error message came up. something as follows :

"IDE Secondary Master Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T Status Bad.
Warning : Imeediate back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent."

HDD habis liao?

new issue guys, what's the System and App Controller? everytime i boot up and logon to Windows, Windows will tell me that a it has recovered from a serious error regarding the said "controller". Anyone able to shed some light on this for me?

I need some help. After i just turned on my PC, I had decided to change my wallpaper. After right clicking on the picture and choosing "set as wallpaper", I received a message saying "active desktop could not be found". And then what i saw is as follows :
