Hi guys,

I don't have much knowledge about GPS. I need your help in picking a GPS under RM500 (cheaper the better). I would prefer to get free maps (heard it is possible). Mostly will be used in klang valley (but will travel to other states as well).

Tax Rebate For Computers

Hi to all

I hope I would get some answers for these questions:

1) Is there a tax rebate for PC purchases?
2) If so, how much is the rebate?
3) Does this rebate also cover self assembled PCs? As in, I buy the components and build one myself. (Or if I could get the seller to write a receipt saying I bought a PC from his shop, when actually I bought all the components from his shop).

HD or 3D?

I am still a SD viewer. Been using a projection TV for years and now the quality is fading. Maybe it is time to move on with the latest tech.

But should I get a HDTV or wait for 3DTVs to mature?
Not in a hurry for a new TV though.

In canal ear buds

Just recently I lost one of the ear buds used with my ep 830 (in canal earphones). The earphones came with three different sizes L, M, S. I was using the smallest pair till one of it droped somewhere. Now I am using the medium sized pair. But they don't fit well.

Does anyone have any suggestion to where I can find these ear buds?

I would consider buying a very cheap in canal earphone which comes with different sizes of buds, but I am not sure if it'll fit my ep 830.

ps: I can't afford custom made buds.

New Myvi (SE)

Used Vios (2003), assuming in good condition

New Persona, just a little sceptical about Proton's quality

which do you recommend?

for student driving, daily about 20 KM average
comfortable + safe .

2nd hand Ford Lynx or Nissan Sentra?

Hi guys. I am gonna get a car soon. I have narrowed my choice to Ford Lynx LS 1.6 (A) and Nissan Sentra XE 1.6 (A). Both are 2001 models. The Sentra costs slightly more compared to Lynx.

Any suggestions?

Hi guys, I need 4GB of DDR3 RAM (Dual Channel). But the cheapest I can find is 2x2GB for RM 310. Anyone knows any cheaper DDR3 RAM? Please recommend it to me! Thanks!

Hi guys, I am planning to build a new gaming rig. My budget is 3500 or less. Because I need to spend some money for the monitor.

I am not sure which processor to go for, either the i7 920 or i7 860. 920 would be better for future upgrading though. But the motherboard for it could get rather expensive.

As for the gpu, anything equal to or better than Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 will do.

I am thinking of buying the components at the coming PC Fair.
