Hello,

I'm looking to start a new hobby for Bee Keeping. I'm not going into anything serious large scale but rather just a box or two that's all that is suffice. (Well, for hobby only, not planning to start a business or anything). I'm looking to keep stingless bee only.

I'm conscious that I live in a neighbourhood, I'm start to wonder will this cause issue to my neighbours? Well, Not that I can control where they should or should not fly to. What do you guys think?

Also, I'm also looking for Queen bee as well, which at the moment I don't see anyone selling any Anyone here knows where I can buy/adopt one please?

Hello guys,

I drove Inspira with default rim.

Recently having to change to Falken C Drive2, I found that it got chipped off relatively faster compared to my old Conti CC5. I don't usually go on stone, but my workplace area is full with pebbles and is unavoidable to go through the road full with pebbles.

I heard from the foreman saying that CC5 no longer in production, so anyone have any idea any tires are decent and won't chipped off that fast? Any recommendation?

I worked in a Development hub (company from a UK known company) as a software developer.

I'm more towards introvert and I only mix around with a those people that I really really comfortable with (at least) or I known them for good for a long time.

Due to I hardly wanted to social, I'm the usual target being the one that got bullied in workspace and yet I don't really bothered much about them as I'm here to work and company paid me to work.

I done my part and I completed my part and in recent Performance review, my reporting manager asked has said that my character of "introvert" is a problem.... well I worked for this company for 2 years++ and now you only telling me this?

So my manager has set "Social" having to "force" an introvert out of their comfort to join social that is not beneficial towards work. By non-beneficial I mean chat that has nothing related to work or in IT domain, just chit chat. Usual when others asked me about stuff about tech or work-related stuff, I will answer them at all I can.

By this scenario, does that making any sense for manager to set that kind of KPI?

I have a question as I'm looking for a hosting that relatively have big email capacity and potentially unlimited email account creation (unrestricted number of email account created that shares the email capacities).

Any recommendation?

Past experience I have a web hosting with 3GB email space, which utilized quite fast and has finished up within 3 years.

Hello all,

In the organisation that I have been working, I have came across a lot of lines of code.

As suggested by the topic, I have seen there are divided group of developers, one that follow best practice and one that is not. I have seen there are developers who follows strictly on best practice recommended by the industries. However, there are another group of developers who do not give a d@rn about best practice.

I have been following best practice myself, at times, for desperate measurements and critical time, I have to skip best practice to get things done. Of coz I have paid the price sometimes for not following best practice in which affect maintainability, performance, and such.

So the topic is, are you guys agreed that best practice should be worshipped?

There are arguments within the developers in my company that has raised that we do not practice best practice or design guidelines. However, I would like to know how developers community here view best practice in their day-to-day core tasks?

Well, we are here to share thoughts of some practice in code, maybe not about curly brackets, but how would we handle exceptions and errors, nullability checking, Linq or SQL or any of the experiences from your mastered programming language other than .NET.

Legal Advice on IT Field

Hello,

I hope someone can give me advice or point me to a direction on this.

I work in Company A for 1 year and more I never received any confirmation since then.

This company do not have any Source Code backup server, no TFS, no SourceSafe and no storage server access. So there were once that the machine that I used is dead and all the source code is in there altogether, therefore no copy other than the copy in the laptop because I do not have time to copy out. The laptop condition has been informed to people but no one bothered to replace for me.

So last November I tendered and company offer me part time instead. So I took the part time and I work as part time for two month which is per agreed.

During the two month I did comply and do my part time and ended at the end of January.

After a few months, they come and find me for the source code which is died together with the machine. So how many I gonna vomit out?

As above information, I would like to seek advice whether is there any case to be bring to conciliation meeting>

Hi all,

I'm currently working in my client place. Due to my nature of my work, I'm engaged in multiple projects in the same time.

The location of the project is on different blocks but these two blocks are facing each other and just 1 floor different from each other.

I only can access to the server farm from the specific AP at that block. Because of this, I have to sit very near to the windows in order to have "some" signal strength and I'm getting tired of it..

Question :

ECU on Battery Failure

Hi all gurus,

I have a custom mapped ECU Proton Inspira which I have drove for quite long and recently I have a battery failure (Totally no power) and I have left it there for a few weeks before I decided to get my battery changed.

However, after I changed the battery, I feel like the car is short on power and not as "Umph" as before anymore. I would like to ask does power failure reset ECU setting? I only know computer fail will lost data in memory, but does that applies to car too?

I went to service my car the other day and the service man told me the tyres is in sort-of-critical condition and recommend me to change? Currently I'm using Continental CC5 ( )

I'm looking for criteria such quietness, (hopefully) long lasting, and handling in dry and wet. Anything around 300-ish is preferable

If I change to smaller size = more petrol burnt?

As long as its not some cap ayam that we have not heard of, I can put into consideration. Anyone?
