Arnold Chiari Malformation & Syringyomelia anyone?

As per above, I am looking for someone who has the same medical conditions as I have so that we can all share our experience together.

Arnold Chiari Malformation: Our brain consists of 3 major parts which are the Cerebrum, Cerebellum and the Medula Obloganta. As in this case of this disease, a part of the Cerebellum, known as Cerebellar Tonsil is protruded into the space of the opening of the spinal cord which is also known as Foramen Magnum. Due to this, the flow of the fluid within the space of the spinal cord, known as CFS (Cerebrospinal Fluid) has been obstructed causing severe pressure to our spinal cord. In consequence, major neurological symptoms might occur depends on the severity of the protruding area. If the problem left untreated, it could worsen the condition overtime. The most viable alternative to decrease the pressure is to create space in the area which often surgery is opted as the best option of all.

Syringomyelia: This is known as the cavity or Syrinx formed inside the spinal cord. This happens when there are certain impact done to the spinal cord or inborn defects which cause obstruction to the fluid (CFS), as a result it flows into the spinal cord as there is no suffice room. The (CFS) fluid is suppose to flow within the spinal cord not in the spinal cord. The Syrinx will expand and elongate overtime and destroying the spinal cord causing severe neurological damage if left untreated. As a result, surgery also the best option to this problem, which is to drain the Syrinx out of the spinal cord in order relieve the pressure.

The symptoms can range from pain to paralysis depends on the severity. As for my case, I was once completely paralyzed from top to bottom. The surgery that I undergone was quite a success because I now can independently live on my own, however I still left with a number of symptoms that yet to recovered up until now since 9 years ago I had this surgery done.

Hope this little information helps everyone of you to get a picture of what the sufferers who have these diseases going through.

If any medical practitioner or expert here finds that there are any wrongly presented information, please do correct me.

Thank you and I wish every of you to have a great day ahead.

Wanted to ask what to do regarding my disease?

Last year, while i were playing basket ball,i suddenly fainted, when i was awake i feel myself could not move anymore,is like paralyzed.I was sent to the Assunta hospital. At first the doctor there couldn't diagnose the problem i having and they just thougt that it was an infection.I had been suffered in the hospital ICU about 1month+ and finally a doctor from another hospital came and he briefly explain to me the problem i had he told me that,he found out that were a compression on the nerve of my cervical spine causing me to undergo this episode of paralysis,he then suggest me for an posterior decompression surgery. After the surgery the problem that affecting my life become lesser but that were some others problem that had not been solve yet such as the spasticity.I have a very sensitive tendon jerk reflexes and also having extensor spasm during morning. The problem cause me unable to run or jump. What my doctor told me that is,he wanted me to go for another operation, anterior cervical decompression, means the surgery aprroach through the back of my mouth, this sound quite extreme for me and thats why i am foregoing for the 2nd surgery. As my age is just only 17 and i still had a long run to go.

This is the MRI scan

After Surgery

Does anyone know further about stem cell? Can it solve the problem if i go for stem cell injection?
Or do i need botox injection to control the problem?
Need opinion on either taking injection or go for operation.
Sorry i am new here..
