We signed up a security system with BRNO at MidValley home fair last month and fixed a time and date to do wiring conceal. But he didn’t turn up, we called the salesman hp but he never pick up our call at all. We called office and the receptionist said will ask the wireman to call u but after 2 hours, also no call. We call again and with a very bad manner, she said she will check again. Finally, someone called us after we waited few hours for him to come to conceal ground floor wiring. We are very very pissed off with the services.

After few weeks, we called the salesman again and he fixed a time n date for the 2nd floor wiring which is yesterday 3pm. Husband take half day leave to wait for him to come but unfornately he also never come. Again, we called the salesman again but he hung up our call after telling us ‘He will call us back”.

We got so called salesman’s boss contact no from the receptionist and call his boss’s hp. After I explain the situation to him he said “ he don’t know y the salesman not picking call, he don’t know anything about it. He could only check for us” with a very bad manners. I told him, I demand a better service from the company and he said he couldn’t help me. I asked his boss contact no, he said he couldn’t help me.

This morning, my husband went to their office and he was attended by another salesman outside the office. This salesman said, he will asked the so called boss to call us. But of coz the so called boss never return our call.

We call the salesman this morning about the time and date to fixed the wiring n alarm, he said “I asked u to wait, u just wait” and HE HUNG UP THE PHONE AGAIN!!

What is this world ? We wanted to call our credit card to cancel the whole transaction but unfortunately this package is on “monthly free interest isntallment” and the bank said we could deal with the merchant BRNO as they already claimed full the money.

What should I do to make sure we demand as a customer rights and make sure they got sue by the authority… ?

Details of the complaint : I browse through mudah.my on 31st July and found seller name Nichole_ann that sells LV bags. I am interested with her LV Tivoli GM and Neverfull MM and decided to send her an email asking for more pictures and details.
She replied my emails by providing more pictures and details of the bags and asked for my contact no for easy communication. She said will reserve the bags for me till Monday.

On Sunday afternoon, she called my hp and talk more about the bags and I confronted her why she wanna sells the bag. She sound so friendly and geniune. She said the bags does not suit her, this n that and wanna buy a new LV bags. She really sound so genuine, of coz.

After negotiation to 4.2k for the bags, she said she is now at Penang but originally from KL. She said will postage to me once I made the payment to her. I told her many times that I do not feel good to postage but don’t know why Iam like spelled and stupid enough to transfer the money to her on 1st August nite. She guaranteed me that she is genuine and authentic seller. After some details of the banking and postage, I wait patiently for the tracking no on Monday. She said, if I found anything wrong with the bags, even lost during delivery, she will full refund to me.

On the afternoon, I finally text her for the tracking no and she claimed her friends have not give her the LV Box. Then I told her she must post the bags to me 1st and do a 2nd postage for the Box. Finally she replied me that she will do the postage immediately in the Tuesday morning and choose the 1day delivery. That’s keep my mouth shut for a day.

The nxt day morning, I tried to call her hp and text her and her reply getting slow. I already feel fishy about it but I know its too late dy.

She text me in the 11am ++ that she is going to nationwide to post the bags to me and I got no choice to wait patiently for the tracking no. Around 2pm + I text again and got no reply anymore. I called the no and the no been OFF till now.

I know been conned and I know iam being naïve and stupid to transfer the money, so I was just try to share with forumers here, afraid she might be doing her business here.

Pls do not rub salt on my wound and Iam seeking help from here, any other ways that I could trace or should I do ?

Ive already made a police report on Tuesday nite. Ive tried to find wether I could this person / more info but to no avail. Definitely, she is using new prepaid phone no and could be the email is newly opened too.

Would like to bring in used copier from singapore or any others country. Is it possible? What are the cost per unit? Any brand Xerox/Canon/Ricoh/Toshiba/KonicaMinolta ... even a local supplier with reasonable price.

SnP and Transfer Fees from Lawyer

Hi all,

Loan taken from bank was 200k, I purchased a subsale house for 220k.
I was charge 5.2k for the loan agreement and 7.2k for the SnP.
Is this reasonable ? The lawyer is from the bank panel i have taken the loan.

Pls enlighten me

House from parent-in-law (transfer or buying)

The current house we are staying belongs to my mother in law and she wanted to transfer the house name to me and husband.
My hubby own a 1st house in Bukit Beruntung and the house been paid off by refinancing the current house.

Now, we wanted to utilise both our EPF facility and loan to renovate our current house too. My questions are : -

1) If the house is transfer to my name, can i withdraw money from EPF as i never own a property b4 ?

2) As i know, u can withdraw the money from EPF to help spouse to pay loan for the 1st house, means the current will only transfer/selling
to my name only. Can the loan have my hubby's name as guarantor (S&P kenot have his name rite ?) and he still withdraw money from EPF to help me to pay off the loan ?

3) Can my MIL by just transfering the house name to me ?? iam the daugher-in-law. If kenot, how much will the lawyer's fees & S&P and others charges for a house cost around rm350k ??

4) If that house are selling for me (if transfer name is not workable), means we have to fork out money to payoff my hubby's refinance loan from the current house that still have around 120k ?

5) Wat is the best approach for the above to fully utilised the EPF account money (me got 60k and hubby 60k) and loan from bank (to renovate the house using housing loan) and also the current refinance loan
are paid off too.

Iam looking for a lawyer to making the above for the best approach and also my father in law have another house to transfer to my brother in law which we wanted to do it together.
Anyone can help ?

hi all,

my hubby bought a house & apartment in 'untung' area 10++ years ago, now the house abandoned but still paying the loan. Now still got around total loan of 120k to pay and been paying 1.5k everymonth.

we hav around 70k cash in hand, very struggling to save this money for the past years.

Do you think we should tak our cash to payoff the 'untung' loan ? as the house loan interest now is about 5% ++
Not worth to put into FD as now only 2%+, hubby said better use the cash to pay the house loan.

But thats all what we have, my 2nd bb will be due soon, and we planning to renovate the current house next year as the condition is very bad. We roughly can take out around 150k from epf accounts 2 for renovation.
I feel a bit heartsick when we have to use our cash to pay his 'untung' house loan that i feel dumping into the sea only.

What is the best advises to make use the cash money ? i feel very 'empty' when we have no more cash on hand..
