Hi Sifusss.......

I have a serious question on financing against SBLC as topic above.

My client in China is going to issue my company a Standby Letter Of Credit worth USD1m through hong kong bank for a development project .

1)I wanna ask how am i going to get bank financing against this standby letter of credit and what kind of facility i can get from bank and margin of financing ?

2)The financing bank is going to claim the SBLC if i not settle the loan within the SBLC period, right ?

3) Will the bank check my company credit rating in order to get the financing ? But its 100% secured against the SBLC .

Dear all Professionalism here ,

I need your advice on a business loan .

Currently , i have a partner who owned a piece of land and worth RM3 million which valued by a panel valuer of all bankers . He is neither a director in my company nor a shareholder or anything .

He is willing to do a power of attorney of his piece of land worth RM3 million under my personal name for a tenure of 30 years , which means i have full power right against this piece of land which is a vacant land and located in town area of kota kinabalu, sabah . Of course , we have our own mutual agreed terms and sharing of any profits .

Now the question is , i need to charge this piece of land into a bank and get financing of up to RM2-2.5 million for business purpose which will generate profit and share between us . Of course , he accept to charge this piece of land into the bank . So , can i apply for a refinancing against personal name or my own company name to get the facilities ? Is this to be consider as third party charge or first party charge ? Will the bank accept power of attorney of the asset to be charged to the bank ?

Please advise any best way to do this financing .

Dear all Lyn experts......

I am going to get below :

1) Asus HDAV 1.3 sound card ( Going to buy )
2) Asus GTX295 ( Bought )
3) Dell 3008WFP ( Bought )
4) Logitech Z5500 ( Bought )

Read lots of review and this combination is really nice...However , i am still very curious how to set up these 3 things to get the best sound and video .

Going to do like below :

Asus GTX 295 HDMI Out -> Asus HDAV 1.3 HDMI In -> Asus HDAV 1.3 HDMI Out -> Dell 3008WFP .
Asus COax Cable to Z5500 .

Is this true ya ? As in order to get full DTS HD Audio , must HDMI in out Asus HDAV 1.3 ....... HDMI Inclusive sound and video .

Then how my Z5500 get the sound ?

I dnt know is this the right place to open this thread...

Exporters Finance Facilities

Hi all LYN Forumers ,

Currently i need some expert advice especially those who work in banking trade finance department . Below is my company details

My company is doing Timber trading and exporting business do Gulf region , China, India, UK, Korea , Yemen and also South Africa . The company formed december 2005 and commenced business nearly 1 and half years due to i bought this company from an audit firm .

My company at current status monthly turnover around RM1mill while Yearly turnover RM10mill , this figures reflect in my company audit account and also management account . At first , with a very limited own cash capital to start this business , most of the time we deal with singaporean or Hong kong company where their company easily get finance facility from their country banker , thus , our profit margin is getting lesser .

However , in current economic situation , those Singapore and Hong Kong Banker started to pull their facilities and they are not able to co-operate with us anymore in term of finance our orders . Now, there's a great chance for us to direct contact with those end-user in foreign country where they direct place the order to us and issue Letter Of Credit at Sight to our company . This is a great chance for us to expand our business sales as well as our reputation in foreign market since we deliver good quality and they are satisfied .

So now , i am looking for banker support in term of trade facilities for pre/post shipment . I have approached Exim Bank and CGC where they provide government guarantee to the bank especially in this economic crisis . However , it seems like they are taking quite a long time for approval and so on . I am looking for facilities on order based or anything .

Is there any expert can suggest any package or any facilities that suit my company ?

Currently , i have 3 Letter of credit at sight from republic of yemen total worth USD1.3million which pending for April shipment . I totaly cannot afford without bank support since all the suppliers they need 30% deposit .

Exim bank has told me they are ready to grant me the facilities worth RM3mill , however , they need me to approach an ECR bank to build a trade line to my company so that they can channel in the facility fund . However , my banker took more than 1 month to proceed with their application . I don't know why they took so long time to create a trade line for me since Exim bank has agreed to grant me the facility .

I need advice .......

Hi My Dear Siffuuuuss here. ....

I recently build a system as below : -

Proc : Intel QX9770 OEM
Mobo : Asus Rampage Extreme bios :0404
Ram : OCZ Platinum 1600mhz 2gbx2
GC : 2 units gecube 4870x2 CFX
PSU : Gigabyte odin pro 1200W
Casing: Thermaltake armour plus full tower casing
cooling: Gigabyte normal cpu fan

I am getting wonder on below temperature :

CPU : 34c
NB : 50-52c
SB : 69-72c --> Is this weird ?
MB : 30c

evelitin working idle mode and all Voltage control is set AUTO in bios...all the voltage seems normal . I will upload PC Probe II screenshot later ..

At first..i thought the 2 GC were stick close with the SB heatsink and i palce 3 12cm Fan 2000rpm to blow the 2 GC and my GC maintain in 50-53c all the time with fan speed set to 34%

Hi Siffuuuuus here~~

Last 2 months i did sign up for Badongo account for RM39.99 per month via credit card .... Tat time i sign up pay by my credit card thru badongo website ...tat time all download speed veli veli fast...each download can run up to 170-180kbps ... So, i am so happy wip tat ...download lots of stuff ... so the 2nd month i plan to renew thru badongo website, but i m shocked when i saw my credit card bills...BADONGO AUTOMATICALLY RENEW FOR ME ... n it automatically charge my credit card again without my permission or wat ... tat time , the connection speed still remain , so, not bother bout it ...

3rd month...the connection speed drop to 7-8 kbps onli....whole mnth like tat...no matter midnite, morning, afternoon , evening....all same .. ..So, i plan to terminate the service wip badongo ...now i found the problem here : -

1) i cant find any way to terminate my badongo membership ( for e.g : ask them not to automaticall charge my credit card for renew of membership without my permission ) ...i cant even get a way to stop thm to do it ... aniway to terminate my service ?
2) Izzit TMnUts start to restrict our bandwidth ? But i download other thing...speed still remain 170-180kbps....jz badongo drop to 7-8 kbps ...

For badongo users....mind to share ur opinion ? thankss

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2GBX2 PC8500 1066MHZ WIP AIR FLOW KIT
GALAXY 9800GX2

COOLER MASTER 1000W

Bios flashed to P04 ( latest released bios for evga 780i )

i face one problem

my ram is 2gbx2 ...... if i plug both ram...recognize as ddr2 800mhz onli....nd to OC it thru bios.... comes a few circumstances as below :

-> If i plug both ram and running as default ddr2 800mhz 2gb x 2.... it totaly cant boot up and evga error code stated C1 ( Means ram problem )
-> If i plug one of the ram running 2gb one stick ddr2 800mhz ..... stable at all
-> If i plug one stick and run at 1066mhz 2.1v ....thn stability got problem...owez blue screen...

I am wonder ani solutions or ani settings to do in the bios in order to run 2gb x2 1066mhz stable ?

Hi all the forumers here.....

Currently, i have RM100k..its part from my business profits and my self savings in cash terms.... as my business is running smoothly rite nw...i dont think i need to touch tis RM100k for at least half year or more than tat..as i have reserved some fund for my business working capital and turnover...

tis RM100k , i am now put as FD in maybank 1 mnth interest 3.00% and auto renewal due to i scared suddenly i need it then i wont incurred much of interest lost...

Hrm....recently, i saw lots of investment plan with fixed return rate more than 8% ( I dno is predicted or fixed or wat lar )cz i din go ask thm...owez i go ask thm ah..they sure ask me buy mutual fund lar...insurance lar..wat retired plan lar...bla bla bla...i hv invested rm50k in mutual fund market but due to recent economic cysis and all my mutual fund is depreciated and still waiting for it to appreciate to a better unit price...nevertheless...my RM50k is stuck there...i m quite regret y i put so many money in mutual fund market...make my money stuck...

can you guys gip me some advice hw shuld i do wip tis RM100k or more in the future in order to gain some interest...below is someting tat i am concerning:

1) dont ask me buy mortgage...as i have already bought two house and still in construction period..means i am paying intereste free of loan rite nw..
2) i need a risk free plan , ani fixed return wic is higher than FD rates is my 1st choice..
3) i cant invest in long term fund or plan wic more than half years or few years...as i am still young nw..mayb in a future i need tis money to expand my business or wat else..

anione can gip me some advise or u have any plan can introduce to me ?

I have set up my rig wip 2 x 8800gts G92 512 MB with my striker extreme nforce 680i , installed with 169.25 forceware and installs all hotfixes vista that i needed...however i am just curious..y my 3d mark 06 so low and also in gpu tech shows that my sli is disabled..wats wrong ya ?

i have enable it thru nvidia control panel as picture shown below .

May i know wat update shud i do in order i am rili running sli mode ya ?

Hello brother LYN....

I hv jz installed 2 units of Sapphire 3870 and activated crossfire mode by using ati catalyst centre...few questions wana ask :

1) In Ati catalyst Centre, crossfire mode has been activated while i using TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.1.3 ...it shown crossfire mode disable...( I m wondering have i activated CF mode ) ? where to check ya?
2) Whats the idle temp for tis card? Frm LYN users review...all in 50-60 degree while mine is over 75 degree jz normal use without gaming...wats wrong ya?
3) when i increase the ati 3870 fan speed to 60% ..... jz the 1st card increase the fan speed while the other dnt..is it normal ?
4) hw to i install hotfix ya?

I m using asus maximus formula n qx6700 at 3.5ghz stable all the time..but today duno y whn i restart my comp thn totaly nth come out rom the screen ler....wat oso dnt hv...jz blank n beep beep beep 3 times....frm the lcd poster...1stly, it shown CPU INIT...thn i unplug my cpu n replug it back...n click the clr cmos button behind there...nah..then the 2nd problem come out..stated CMOS ERROR...oh no!!! hw do i flash my bios since the screen totally..blank...HELP HELP...
