Want to ask something. I've received a quotation from my contractor to build 93 feet long brick fence around my yard.

The quotation separates into 2 options:

1. with footing concrete only
2. with column concrete only

which one should have a stronger build?

Have you guys ever experienced or heard of about the LHDN rebate being over-refunded?

Meaning that, e.g. you have declared RM1000 rebate entitlement via e-filing, but in actual, you've been refunded with RM1500 via check or bank transfer.

I'm going to do some concrete fencing at my house soon.

I'm comparing the prices amongst all approaches of building fencing:

Hi

Anybody has tried DIY Home alarm system before, the one that sold on the shelf, and then do DIY installation.

I found one on youtube like Yale premium alarm HSA - 6400, but I believe this one not available in Malaysia.

I found a few on the Net, they sell some brands in Malaysia, but I think it's China-made. Is the quality ok?

Can share your experience/opinion on this?
Any product to recommend? Especially those with GSM and wireless instead of wired one.

base cabinet under existing table top

Hi

In my house there is existing table top made from concrete.

Now I plan to install a set of cabinet consists of base cabinet and overhead cabinet.

I wonder if I can keep the concrete table top, and to install the base cabinet underneath, will it fit? Well I don't have the exact measurement right now.

Or, do I need to abolish the concrete table top altogether?

Please advise me folks.

+ Tiling of the space of 18' x 10'
+ Tiling of the new space's wall perimeter (since this is going to be kitchen). Height of 5'. roughly 50' x 5'.
+ Hacking of existing wall (originally this is the kitchen's wall and door). Roughly around 6'.
+ Pulling the electrical line to the new space. 4 points altogether.
+ Plumbing works to pull the water pipe to the new space.
+ Ceiling works to cover the new space.

Moving aircon set to new house soon

i want to move to new house soon. I want to move my aircon set also (in-house aircon unit & compressor) to new house. From Bandar Sunway to Bandar Saujana Putra (puchong). Please quote me the cost for:

1. uninstall the aircon set from old house
2. patch the piping hole in the wall at the old house. make it looks like seem no hacking has been done
3. move the aircon set from old house to new house
4. install the aircon set at the new house

Decision to buy 407

Hi guys,

I have about 90% of decision to 'sambar' Peugeot 407 one very soon. Already test drive it last weekend.

I like the safety + the comfortability + handling of 407 + all the EBD, EBA etc. I don't mind the 1l/10km FC over its jap counter part, I don't mind the, I don't mind the slightly higher miantenance cost.

But I worry most is 407 is now at its end of lifespan. I worry if I buy sumting that is out dated and the spare parts will become obsolete in the coming 5-7 years.

Am I making the right decision to get 407 now? I couldn't wait for 408 or 508, because I need such conti car specs for such price for my family now. I could grab the 308 but u know family man like me want a bigger boot space.

Hopefully you guys can give unbiased views on this... love this peugeot thingy.
