1. Can i have a different company address (as per registered in SSM) for my business operation?

2. Can I have a different company address (as per registered in SSM) on my company chop?

If it is not possible, what can I do about it?

ROC and ROS

Hi,

My friends and I have a club of our own and currently expanding. We are planning to organize some events and create some merchandise for selling purpose. Therefore, we are considering of registering it under ROC or ROS.

I am wondering which is more practical for our case and what is the differences between ROC & ROS.

ROC ( Registry of Company )

Sole proprietorships
Partnerships
Companies

ROS ( Registry of Societies ) http://www.ros.gov.my/jppm/

From my acknowledgement, we need to have at least 24 members in the club to register under ROS, 7 participating community in a meeting to make the meeting officials and need to do a mthly report and a lot of other things.

Partnerships comprise two or more business partners pooling their resources in a business with a view to profit. Like sole proprietorships, only Malaysian citizens or permanent residents can register partnerships. A partnership agreement is usually drawn up by legal counsel, which outlines the responsibilities of each partner, conditions of termination and means of resolving intra-partner disputes. Personal names or trade names can be used as business names, and the Application of Business Name form must be filled in before a business can be registered. Certain names, like those associated with government agencies or royalty (i.e. "national", "chartered" or "di-Raja") or the name of another person who is not an owner of the business cannot be registered. The relevant authorities reserve the right to reject any given name if it is deemed misleading or inappropriate in their opinion.

My enquiries is:-

1. What is the normal conditions of termination?

2. How do you determine who will get more shares in the partnership?

3. How to register as a partnership? Something like sole prop or sdn. bhd.?

4. How much is the estimated expenditure cost to setup a partnership company?

I've been assigned to work on the company latest proposal to develop a specific area.

I want to know how to write an "impressive" and "full format proposal". I've googled for some templates or references but it doesn't seems to help.

Methods to send files above 50 MB on the net

Hi to all my beloved LYN forummers,

I would like to know a few methods to transfer files (coral draw, psd & pdf) between 50 MB to 200 MB online other than using IM programs like MSN Messenger & Skype.

I heard there is a way that I could splits the file into a few partitions by using Winzip, Winrar and some other softwares. That way it would be easier for my receivers to download the files and etc.
