Anyone has exp in this?

Hey guys,

Am going through some non-communicative times in a relationship.
My gf isn't very expressive with her feelings & thoughts. When she has a bad day, or something bad happened, she'll retreat and not talk about it. From what I've read around...it seems that its normal for girls to do this.
Something bad happens - they keep quiet and deal with it internally. Fair enough.

But sometimes, it happens quite frequently...and because she's not talking, it's hard to talk about stuff (anything to her) because she's already in no mood, and I shouldn't ask what's wrong.
I'm quite expressive to ppl who are close, hence, this somewhat silence is taking its beating on me. Communication is important in a relationship, this is what I believe and practice. I dislike guessing games and playing mind games to get back at your partner/ to gain something from the other party.

So, has anyone gone through this before? Would like to hear about your experiences.

VFX Question

Hey guys, I'm planning to do a short animation which involves "pouring some chemical/liquid over a robot's arm" & "then that liquid turns into a human skin layer covering the robot's arm".

Any ideas or leads as to how I should approach this?
So far I only can think of using nParticles for the liquid being poured onto the arm. But for the part where the liquid turns into a human skin layer across the arm I am lost

I'd like the liquid solution to spread across its arm from where the liquid was poured onto.

Hope some artists can help with this,
Thank you ~

iShuffle sync prob

I'm starting to hate this iShuffle that I have, Apple's "miracle" copyright cause is a pain in consumer's ***.
U all would know that my iShuffle would auto sync with the iTune on my comp (Win btw). But my comp had to be replaced (mobo fail, hard drive replaced).
So I got a new comp, laptop to be precise and when I want to transfer new songs, u guessed it, Apple asks me to delete my entire music list in order to sync to my new comp (what a cumbersome feature).
I went online, it said to change my iShuffle settings to manual manage my music, but there is no such option. My iShuffle's probably the 2nd generation.

So its stuck with the same songs forever, where I don't intend on deleting them. Is thr a way to set it to manual? or its just screwed as it is.

No appetite?

For quite some time I noticed I've reduced appetite. To the point where I am losing weight (I'm underweight).
The thing is: i) I'm not anorexic
ii) I just graduated, no stress from assignments etc

So I don't know why I'm losing my appetite, not that I don't want to eat but I just eat what is enough (being the minimum) and go on doing my things until its time for the next meal. Bfast, lunch n dinner in a day.
I don't think about food, I just eat food to live. But at this rate, it's not healthy.

So to any doctors or persons out there who can gimme some insight as to why I'm having this problem, I'd appreciate it very much.

EVGA X58 SLI LE Socket LGA1366 Motherboard

As the title states, EVGA X58 SLI LE Socket LGA1366 Motherboard that comes with Intel's X58/ICH10R chipset and supports Core i7 Processors, SLI, and 3-Way SLI.

I'm currently looking for a M'sian vendor that sells this particular motherboard. Planning to hook it up with a Core i7 920, 2.66Ghz processor. But from looking at the catalogs of the shops posted in LowYat forums, I have yet to find any.

I'm not comfortable with importing the board from overseas, due to technical problems, shipping costs and considerable down-time if something happens to it.

So, I hope anyone that has knowledge of this would share this.
Thanks ~

P.S. I think I should post this Q here, not in the tech-support section. If any mods see that, could you close it pls.
