Hi Sifus,

Just curious, assuming im going for ASUS GeForce RTX3060TI TUF Gaming OC 8GB,
Running at DDR4 3200mhz 8Gb x 2
Do you think i7 like 11700kf will be a huge waste here ?
As vendor recommends i5, citing other parts could be low in some form.

Thinking to replace my existing graphic card to RTX 2060.

But someone told me this matching creates "Bottlenet", even stuff like upgrade bios.

But as far i notice, PCI-E X16 & PCI-E GEN 3, I'm under impression this shouldn't be an issue.

Now im not sure, should i go ahead or just save up for next overall upgrade Hoping guidance from sifu2

Hi, a question i have been wondering.

Let say, back then, 4 years ago, i bought a 2nd hand car at RM 40,000 from a dealer.

and, today, i wish to trade in for either brand new car / second hand car.

How the trade in price will likely be?

my concern is, will they value it worse than trade in first hand car? Since, the vehicle experienced 2 owners.

Myvi hard to accelerate uphill

Hi, from the another post, now i'm certain that the alternator is working fine. And, i got the ignition coil changed, as well as the spark plug

One thing i notice, having the same issue while rolling uphill. Notice that, it pretty hard to accelerate up the slope, no matter how, i will hold around 2000 rpm @ 60 km/h ~
Is this normal for myvi ?

I heard my friend sharing that their rpm while getting uphill can be somewhere from 3k to 5k rpm while only slightly more step on pedal than usual ~ mine hardly even more than 3k ~

usually i step the pedal up to 75% of total while in D4.

Myvi Alternator Query

Hi guys, anyone can comment on alternator stuff?

I tested my myvi battery this morning, wanted to test if my alternator still working

So, i recorded the numbers as follow :

Engine not started - > 12.24 v
Engine started without Aircon -> 14.21 v ~ 14.30 v
Engine Started With Aircon ->14.13 v ~ 14.29
Intermediate Air Con kick-in - > Lowest i observed 13.09 v， slowly, it crawled back to around 14.20 v (is this normal btw ? )

Any comment given this idea? As i feel my car is under power occasionally, so, have been suspecting both ignition coil & the alternator. I'm using Denso Iridium Spark plug (ran around 20000 km to 35000 km).

Cat back exhaust

Hi all sifus here ~ i just changed the myvi stock exhaust to cat back from Supercircuit ~ just wondering, is such change increases the fuel consumption ? lots ? any ideas ? but, yeah, i realize it might be hurting, just wondering how significant it is going to be.

im still trying my first full tank ron 97 (pump stopped automatically), just wanna prepare myself mentally, if worsens, might consider sell it though ~

Does recon air compressor affect the car's power?

Hi all, just curious as i feel that myvi EZi losing power momentum, moment i switch on the aircon & kick in. I estimate the momentum discounted by 30% to 35%.

Other pieces of information i can provide is, the air compressor is a recon, which, i observed when installing, it was mitsubishi brand. The tauke told me not to worry, as it fits well on myvi. just wonder, as another workshop told me that, the aircon compressor has been modified with additional metal piece. I have no idea.

Appreciate feedback and advice from you guys. If it is the compressor issue, thinking to change a ori, which probably cost >RM 1k, or another thing in my mind is to touch the exhaust system, which i hope can boost the momentum? Any advice?

Need Advice - Myvi Gearbox Repair

Hi all, really need you guys advice. I just had my myvi checked by foreman, as i complained some "kla kla kla" noises coming out from somewhere when i accelerating, particularly uphill. After he really checked part by part, he concluded that those noises came from deep inside the car - the gearbox surrounding. He diagnosed that potentially either the Flywheel or the gearbox itself. And the recon gearbox roughly RM 2K ++. Any advice from you guys, i kinda worry if misdiagnosed and the symptom persists.

hmm.. gonna bank in RM25 to a seller who is using Maybank, unfortunately, the deposit machine doesn't accept RM1 and RM5. I was thinking to deposit through the bank's counter, anyone has any idea, will they impose any fee like commission or processing fee? or just RM25 and finish.
