WtA GPU 6 pin into molex

hello masters, recently i just rebuild old pc to play dota 2 only. my spec is

amd athlon x2 215
4gb ddr2
gigabyte gtx 550ti
stock cooler
psu only 250w lol

my question is, my gpu needed 6 pin connector and by using molex converter,they need 2 molex pin but my psu only have 1 molex. still pc can on, but is it any effect in future?

ps/ dota 2 lag after 30 min

I have big problem

recently just build custom desktop,my rig is :

Phenom 2 X4 955 be
Asus M4A77TD
2gb x 2 1333 ddr3
HD 6870

and my HDD is 1TB Caviar green 64mb cache - SATA ( i know its slow,wrongly buy )

after all pieces combined together,BIOS detect HDD and all but..

but when it want to go computer..its say "reboot and select proper device..etc (i dun remember ),even its boot first time after first build

1)I had selected HDD is 1st priority
2)All wire checked and tighten

please otai2 help me..all hardware very new..but why its happen???
