On pc, fans running, mobo got lights, gc got lights, hd tried on another pc still working. but nothing on screen, bios pun tarak masuk. i'm thinking mobo prob. what do u guys think

i think my mobo rosak ady. buka computer got lights and everything. harddisk running gc running but nothing on screen. no even dos mode or anything. i think its the mobo. can recommend and cheap replacement. was using msi 770

Lan connection Problem

Here is the problem. i connect through a router to a modem. sharing connection with a laptop running on vista, my PC running on XP. everything is plug in place, the lights are all green and ready to go. but i still cant connect to the internet while the laptop is connected.

Local area connection is enabled, and connected, not unplugged or anything else but enabled and connected, but i'm not connected to the internet.

i cannot acquire ip address automatically, but even if i key in the addresses manually, i'm still not connected, while the laptop ip addresses was keyed in manually as well, and different from the ip address in my PC.

this has lasted for 2 days, calling streamyx hotline doesn't seem to help me a lot at all.

this has happened before but only on a short term.

when i unplug the lan connection from my computer, it pops out unplugged, when i plug it in, it doesn't pop out lan connected at 10mbps or what ever it suppose to pop up.

i'm using an intergrated LAN jack, mother board is MSI 770 c45. i tried using a LAN PCI card, plug it in, driver installed automatically as usual, then it disappears from the device manager list of hardware connected in. Device manager recognizes my intergrated lan jack and it says working.

i'm using freeware zonealarm firewall. my connection has been fine all these while, until i bought this new rig. i'm connected for a few days, disconnected for few, connected again and then no disconnected.

LAN Connection problem

my mobo MSI 770 C45 cant connect my lan connection. it was connected for a week plus.. then it isn't anymore. weird thing is.. it appears in my device manager as working properly. but even after i connect it with a lan wire to my router, it still appears unplugged. tried using other lan wires still doesn't work. another computer connected to my router is still working fine. but not my computer. help help help.. software problem? i tried disabling it, uninstall the driver, resintall, enabled, several times. still doesn't work

i bought a new rig. used back my old harddisk and bought a new harddisk. the new harddisk doesn't appear in my computer. omg help help help. using MSI board. 770 C45

RM2000 budget excluding CD/DVD rom, i have a pair of old 512mb DDR2 ram still can be used. i'm looking for a gaming performance CPU, wana play assasin creed and the upcoming assasin creed 2.

So what i need is
1. MOBO
2. Proc
3. 2 more gb ram?
4. maybe 250 or 320gb HDD
5. The Power Supply
6. and the casing of course.
7. i dont suppose i need a soundcard right? lol

and do you guys think i should get into the ddr3 ram hype? lol

I need to buy a good and complete law dictionary. not those mini mini pocket books. i wan a big complete one. planning to go buy at kinokuniya but no idea which one is better. can any law veterans here recommend me a good one?
