Found this babe from the taiwan website "AA to USB charger". Cool and plan to buy one in taiwan. As website said, it can provide the 5VDC from a single AA batt power. Furthermore, AA batt can be charging back by USB port.

SONY A1000 Member

Had tested the function and feature in A1000. The pros and cons are listed as below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pros
1) Big Storage. Of course, the capability is larger than normal Flash player.
2) 1.5" Large OLED display. For me, OLED is good to view at any angle.
3) 6 EQ. It provide 6 different EQ to serve you. EQ is similar as MD player one.
4) Design is shape than previous HDD player.
5) Can use with MD remote control.
6) Small size. It only big as a normal name card.
7) G Protection. I using it when walking and running, it work very well even not skip song.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cons
1) Connect player is quite good than Sonic Stage function, but it will utilize quite high CPU process.
2) Not support MP3 File Manager. Hope sony will launch the new version of Mp3 File manager to support it.
3) HDD. Please don't try to drop it, it may damage ur HDD inside.
4) Screen seen easy to scratch. Pouch is not available in Market yet.
5) The song is sorted by song title in player. It can't sorted by the folder name. So, if you can't listen the album by album continuely as BEAN or flash player.
6) No FM function.

Overall, I still like A1000 much

SONY BEAN Member + Sennheiser PX200

I just brought my SONY BEAN 1GB in LYN. I feel the design is nice and user friendly. Actually, it is a basic player, include BASS and TREBLE sound effect. I would like to intro one of SONY software, call MP3 File manager . It is ease to use and just need to install one time. Next time, you can just open the application from the BEAN, without using the SONICSTAGE or other application for MP3 transfer to BEAN. This software support the Chinese display as well. But remember, this software only for transfer song from PC to BEAN (no BEAN to PC).

So, every BEAN member pls share ur experience and review in here. If you have any problem in BEAN, also welcome to post here.

If u still don't have BEAN now, you also welcome to post ur question here (Pricing, Problem, Hardware and Software).

Cheers... :HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR:

Just brought PX200 from Davis, the feel is nice. cool, it is alive.
