Insurance Claim : Approved ammount > repair

Hi,

Need some advice on a recent insurance claim I made.

I recently met an accident where the front was badly damaged to the point it is possible to claim total loss. Long story shot I went through the whole process and my insurance claim was recently approved.

Here are some details:
I insured my car for RM55K - which is way above the market value 35 to 45k. My car is now 7 years old
The Workshop quoted RM45K to the insurance company to repair my car. I'm hoping to claim total loss because based on the extent of the damage I would not think that it will be roadworthy after the repairs.

However the insurance company approved only 19K for the repairs after the adjusted came to have a look. I don't think this is enough. FYI this is a continental car and one damage that would be expensive to fix is the wiring harness connected to the ECU / Canbus have been completely ripped... I think necessitates a whole car wiring harness replacement. Otherwise my safety systems would not even work.

Any advice from the Sifus here how I should handle this situation?
