Aviation Investment Model

I own a couple of aviation companies based in LTSAAS, Malaysia and is DCA approved alongside AoC Certifications and CofA for aircrafts operated under us. The company is one of the oldest AoC holders in the country closing 40 years.

I'm thinking of opening up my hangar space and operations to investors who are

1- Thinking of owning an aircraft but does not have the space for it.
2- The above + lack of aviation knowledge
3- 1&2 + lack of an aviation company as well as skilled manpower required (Ops, Technical, Engineering, G.Ops, F.Ops, Tracking etc)
4- Thinking of owning an aircraft but wants to profit from it when not in use by self
5- Thinking of jumping into aviation but cannot acquire AoC and later on CofA (It is terribly hard to get AoC anywhere in the world)

(there's a few more but those are just elaborated/technical forms of the above)

The investor gains

1- Aircraft is owned by the investor (operated by the company)
2- Investor holds all rights to usage and charter (aside from contractual agreements)
3- An operating aircraft (or a fleet) without worrying about acquiring documentations (a small company needs at least 15 different files for guides, procedures, manuals etc to be considered by DCA)

With options ranging from

MYR 450k - 5 Seater Cessna 206 (Non turbo)
all the way to
MYR 90M - Configurable Seating Gulfstream G550 (Luxury spec)
and even
MYR 80M - Configurable up to 156 Seats

to list a few.

The company is able to operate both cargo and passenger aircrafts.

The benefits,

1- Inhouse engineers and technicians performs all pre-purchase inspection and record tracking
2- Ensuring DCA's approval (if it is a first of type and is not approved, it'll be advised against)
3- The Company does not handle any funds or PoIs in initial phases.

This is not the full plan and I'm wondering what does this model look to you guys?

Breaking Away from traditions.

Hello it's been a good long while since I've last posted anything here.

Anywho, I'm 27, owns a couple of aviation companies in LTSAAS and have only been tickling the sides of traditional businesses for income. So, recently I've managed to buy myself a new car and was pretty happy with it (still am to be honest) but that triggered a dinner conversation between me and a couple of aviation business owners around my hangar. To be honest, it was one of the most eye opening conversations I've ever had financially considering that made my new car purchase sound like a flick of the finger decision for all of them.

I'll cut it short though

I was told that I should consider

i) Forex
ii) Stock Markets

And to be frank, I have absolutely no idea what goes on in either of them from a technical standpoint.

I'm willing to give one a test run but can't decide on which with minimal knowledge (random googling isn't very friendly this time)

Which and why?

I was told I could jump into forex with 100 USD minimum and 10k USD minimum for Stock Market is this true?

Note :

This is something I'm gonna do and play around with during my free time and I'm not sure if that'd give optimum results. What are the times you've spent and what's your recommendations?

One of the guys told me that all he did was pump in the cash and let a guy handle his forex account for an 80/20 split. Is this viable?

Aircraft Chassis?

Hello My company will be moving to a new hangar location soon and we are looking up at setting up an aviation themed lounge for our VVIPs. The problem I'm having now is that I can't seem to find an aircraft-like chassis.

I'm alright with mATX mobos as our clients will not be in the lounge for more than an hour at a time.

Any suggestions?

CM Cosmos 2 (Not sure about this but I'm suspecting the chassis as well with its layout)
1200w CM Silent Gold PSU

Win 7 64 Ultimate

Pre-posting this topic notes:

- Day 1 problem - 00 Debug Code - No Boot - No On-screen display (solved with reinstalling the parts)

- Day 1 problem - Random freezes

- Month and a half ago, PSU went kaput from what may be a surge

- To test damage, powered on the pc and all was running well.

- Removed PSU and sent for RMA

- Got a new set a few days back

- Rules out PSU issue

After installing and running with new PSU

- Update UEFI BIOS with Cap-Convertor

- Bios upgraded to 3010 RIVE non-custom

- Issue persists.

- Freezes are random still

- Freezes can be delayed by toying around with DIGI+ Power Control

- 00 Debug if restarted after freeze without removing power source

- Unplugging for 5 seconds results in regular boot procedure. AE > AA (select mode > boot)

- All parts are as is as it was in day 1 with the exception of PSU (RMA'ed)

Most Common Freezes

- Whilst Gaming

- When Chassis is Shaked (not always)

- When removing Wireless Adapter from front USB Panels (Chassis)

- When transfering Wireless Adapter USB Ports from 2.0 to 3.0 and vice versa.

Non Gaming / Intensive Status:

- No crashes until I start multi tasking (simple music + ms office + spidertracks)

- Sometimes it doesn't crash at all.

Tests done:

Prime
Burn
FurMark

- Before PSU was RMA'ed

- Lost result data

- Didn't shut down or freeze during those as far as I can remember.

I'm really baffled at this point. Prior to this there was a 1 week worth of pure good gaming experience without crashes even when it was at 4.5 GHz OC'ed with DIGI+ set to 400 frequencies for memory and some voltage tweaks.

I do hope to solve this issue before further RMA'ing any parts. It takes forever over here.

Warpgate - The main company solely combining efforts of all parts into a sales points

Warplink - Networking aspect of the company involving giants such as alcatel and such as well as E-home conversion R&D

Warpsys - Seperate division solely to cater to construction / medical / law / governance bodies and provide with systems as well as software to efficiently run and task the business (ie: providing construction companies with an all in one managing purchase hire sales salary etc cost in short, running a construction company including orders and construction laws and materials all in one software)

And for its green initiative have drawn up a concept of max performance with low environmental impact titled Warpgate Aurora (green and natural beauty inspired)

I am the subhead R&D in the company as of the moment and would like to ask for feedbacks and opinions on this concept as we do need to enhance our image before future plannings (boss doesn't want this to be spoken of so i'm sorry >.<) can be pulled off.

Also do comment on the company wallpaper image for systems sold as well as design base. (I personally think it'd look better with pure black background and a 90 degree motion blur towards the center of the image)

Car Dealership

I've been in the aviation industry ever since I was 18 and it seems that all my senior partners/ pilots and business owners in the industry will at one point invest or set up an automotive dealership and to be frankly honest I am keen in doing the same.

However, they refused saying that I should be focusing on my current family company and will not share any information with me.

It'd be great if anyone could help me out here.

I would like to know what are the process? the capital involved? the licensing and permits required? the scale of turnover (expected) for the first 6 months etc etc. any information would be great.

i admit i have no idea how this sector of the industry works but would really love to study it.

feel free to flame it's a good way to see the cons of the industry as well ^^

CM 690 Fan Enquiry

Just wanna enquire about the max fan size for this casing for each slot. And where to get the cpu heat dissipation slot fan. (80x15)

Also I heard that you can install fan at the drive bay of the casing (on top of the hdd cooling fan) what sizes are those?

As well as the 140 mm top x2 exhaust ports (just wanna know if this is possible).

What are the max sizes for these slots without case modding.
