Hey Guys,

I posted last few weeks about my mobo problem and decided to send it for warranty. So now, I would like some opinion from u guys which mobo I should buy to replace my mobo. I do mild overclock nothing hardcore, I dont need wifi/bluetooth, can fit my gcu n sound card, support 5.1 cause planning to buy speaker soon, standard features.

This is my system
I7 2600K cpu
Crucial M4 ssd
Noctua nh d14 cooling
G.skill ripjaws x 1866
Xonar essence stx
560 ti hawk
Fsp hexa 500w
Windows 8 pro 64bit

I surveyed for this mobo, msi z77 gd55, asrock z77 extreme 4, gigabyte z77 hd3, asus z77 LK but asus failed me once or if any of u guys have any other suggestion please share. My budget is around 500. Thanks in advance.

MoBo Problem? Need Help Pls

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask but since this is OC thread for SB, I might as well ask for help here.
I did OC since I upgraded my system which is Nov 2011, and since that there is no problem until recently. So, here is the problem with my system. Every time I on my system, it will show the page Overclocking Failed. Please enter setup to re-configure your system. Press F1 to run setup. Then I thought my OC problem so I reset it to default which is no more OC but the problem still the same till now. Whenever the OC Failed page show, I need to enter F1 and go Bios, then I just need to discard changes and exit from bios it will boot to windows with no problem. But if I change something and save changes & exit from bios it would not boot to windows and it will shut down the system. One more thing is, every time I restart my system it will shut down the system instead of restarting it. I have to push the power button again to run my system.

I did read some of the solution suggested by any forum that I can find and I did all the solution but still same problem happen. So, I'd like to ask if any of u guys face the same problem or maybe know how to fix this problem. My friend thought maybe the OC chip on MoBo is burn or something, that's why this problem happen.

So guys, please help me fix this problem. Should I send the MoBo for warranty or what? Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Xonar Essence Stx VS NH-D14

Hi guys,

I just bought Asus Xonar Essence STX Sound Card and it does not fit with my system because of NH-D14. As u guys can see my system at my signature. Problem is, when i put the SC to 1st slot pci-e, it touched with the D14's fan pin that hold it. When i try to put it at 2nd slot pci-e, it does not detect because it does not really fit because of the motherboard heatsink. I have few option to do but im not sure its the best or if any of u guys have any suggestion, please let me know.

1st: I will remove one of my pin that hold fan for D14 and put my sound card at 1st slot pci-e. (Will it effect the airflow?)
2nd: I'll just change my mounting position of D14 which is vertically and airflow goes up. (I know its not a proper airflow but will it effect so much?)

If u guys have any suggestion, please let me know. I really need help. Thanks in advance.

Power Save Mode

GCU Defect

Hi guys, I have big problem here with my monitor where it kept showing the entering power save mode few minutes after I on pc. Is it nvidia driver problem, I tried install latest version 285.62 and previous versiob 285.38 but still showing the power save mode. Is there any setting I can change or disable it? I already set sleep and off monitor to never. What do u guys think?

Nvidia Driver Crash

Hi, my nvidia driver keep crash while im not playing bf3. What i meant here, i play bf3 without a problem crash or freeze or whatsoever but once i go to windows and try play some mp4 or wmv movies the driver will crash and make my pc rebooting but not with mkv or avi. I did the clean install where i use driver sweeper from 280.xx to 285.xx (latest drive now).
My GCU 560TI Hawk, playing on 1920x1080 with auto settings.
Should i try reinstall the driver?

Hi guys, i was confused to pick which of below GCU is value for money and its performance on BF3 or any other games. Is it a good time to buy GCU or should i wait for new gen GCU to come out?
I was planning to get 560 Ti, but which 560 Ti u guys think i should choose?

2. ASUS ENGTX560 Ti DCII TOP
3. EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked
4. PALIT GeForce GTX 560 Ti Sonic
