[Need Advice] Worth to buy used car?

Hi guys,

I need your advice whether is it worth to buy a second hand (used) car? Or is it I should stick to first hand myvi or honda city/jazz?

My budget is around 50k to 70k.

I am looking at volkswagen golf tsi (1.4 TFSI) or golf gti (2.0 GTI)

i am currently using window7 but it was so slow. now i want to reformat windowXP but it says that "setup cannot continue because the version of windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD" when i tried to install windowXP. can anyone help me?
