Need help with my Edifier S330

hi everyone.. i hope im at the right place.
as state above i own a Edifier S330. it give great sound for me. but since few days it start to having some problem. while listening to music,the sound just suddenly fade off. the led still on. after turn off a few hours, the sound will come back but just for a few minutes then it will fade off again. could someone help me identify the problem?

hope im at the right thread..

this is my cpu spec

-gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3
-cpu E8600
-2x2gb of ram
-ati 4870
-1tera hdd
-750w psu

im thinking to upgrade my rig and i have thought a few choices

1-upgrade with new mobo with ddr3 ram and better chipset and maintain my e8600
2-find a nice offer in garage sales (there someone offering i5-620+mobo around 500)
3-or just find a better GC

i just plan to spend around rm300 + selling the part that i want to upgrade.
with above spec which upgrade is the most worthy..
and not to forget i use my rig a lot for gaming.
