Accident - Need advise

Dear All Sifu, I wish to ask for advice for incident below:-

I had a car accident and is the other party fault. We had went to made police report. When I want to go to repair my car and I being notified that the other party insurance is cancelled (Insurance is active when accident, but cancelled subsequently).

What can I do now? Only can claim my own insurance?

Update: Just clarify again with insurance company. They update me that the car that knock mine insurance is expired way before the incident. However, due to "sync" issue, it is not discovered at first and thought they got the insurance. Really complicated and tired on this matter.

I got no idea what I shall do already. Just proceed to claim my own insurance and burnt the NCD?
