hi guys

i have an LG IPS ultrawide monitor. so a few days ago the monitor went kaput

what i can observe is:

-power is on and powerled is showing
-the backlight is there (very obvious since my monitor have visibly bad black level)
-OSD is not visible either the menu or the no signal logo.
-it still retain its operation behaviour like the monitor would go to sleep after 5min when theres no sources or navigation through the osd with the thumb controls.
- did try double checking with different input sources with same result

question is there any chance for diy repair or is it economical to send to shop for repair?

or is it 100% certified E-waste?

hi

so i have this old 5.1ch samsung HT/BD-player (HT-F4550)

its pretty basic but im content with the sound...

with exception of passive subwoofer unit. the bass is shallow and sounded very loose .

so i wonder if a subwoofer upgrade is possible without replacing the entire system.

Lagging while playing certain type of video. WHY?

hi

currently my pc is running 8gb ram x 2 @3200mhz

apparently 16gb is not enuf since ram allocation is full when i game causing my game stutter at times and often crash to desktop.

so instead of buying another 8x2 im planning to buy 16x2 kit

is it advisable to run 8x2 + 16x2 config? will i encounter any issues?

but after swap my PC refuses to boot up unless i disconnect the 8-pin PCIE connector

is this a PSU issue or is it something else

since my wifi is so unreliable im tired of constantly connecting nas from my pc back and forth to the router so i decided to use wired connection

i went through a hassle of re-wire the line from living room to my bedroom but im only getting 100Mb speed.

hi

so recently i got unknowingly overcharged by celcom for like rm15+. (im on basic 38 plan)

so i contact them to rectify they say i got charged by a third party for receiving mms services. in which i did receive but i immediately delete and register as spam in my message inbox (fyi i didnt subscribe for anything)

they say that they cant do anything on their side and ask me to install and use antivirus.

so the question is how exactly do i do this and what app should i use to effectively solve the issue
