Hi everyone,

Currently im doing mechanical engineering in Monash University, and completing my 2nd year by the end of this year, follow by 3 months of summer holiday. I am wondering is there anyone here had/having their internship in Singapore? or is that possible for Malaysia students to have their internship there?

Ive searched through JobStreet, JobsDB, Job Central Singapore and found very limited vacancy for internship in engineering compared to JobStreet Malaysia. Is this the norm? or is there any other website has vast list of companies that offers internship program?

Altering a Jeans

Hi guys, recently i bought this jeans and found it's too long and wide, sent it to 2 alteration tailor and they manage to get it shorten but cant alter the width because they're not able to remain the original design, or it's too complicated to alter, they refused to do it due to CNY period.

I wanted to narrow the width by 1.5inch, but there's problem with the stitches in the inner part, i assume that's 'double-folded stitches'( dont know what it's call), tailors that i've met up with were not able to remain that part, which i think it's an integral part of the whole jeans.
Any idea i can narrow the width by 1.5inch while remaining the double folded stitches part?

About it's length, would like to connect the original end back to the altered jeans, anybody can recommend me some reputable tailors to get these 2 things done? Ruth? and the approx cost?

Irregular power

Guys, i have a cefiro A33 2.0 year 03. As we know, when we start out car after a long rest, the throttle isnt that responsive, we got to wait until the engine warm up, but there's this problem with my cefiro, after its engine had warm up, the engine's agility still remain the same, until i restart my car engine, then only the throttle is aggresive...what's the problem behind? anything to deal with the electricity flow? ECU?

How to clean dye spot on white garment?

Hey guys,

I accidentally wash my White shorts together with a Blue shirt, ended up the shorts was dyed with some blue spots, not too bad, but it's visible....Is there any way to fix that? Using chlorine? alcohol? bleach? detergent?

As far as i know, using detergent to bleach white cloth might cause it becomes white-yellow, due to the reaction of chlorine towards the fabric materials, or something like that....

So, any suggestion to clean those irritating spots?

Display driver problem

hey guys....my laptop as mentioned above is having a kinda serious display driver problem....i found it happens while the laptop is on high temperature....i'm not sure if it's overheated....but i had been using this laptop for more than 1 year and this only happened recently...

here's the picture when the problem encountered...and the laptop hang and forced to shut down....

Any idea on what's going on..? and what's going to fix this..?

hey guys..i had refered to some threads which close to my situation.....when i switch on my laptop...everything goes smoothly like usual..the problem occurs when it comes to the desktop laoding process.....no single icon was loaded and i cant click on he right click and whatever...the only thing i can do is open the task manager and tweak the computer....hmm...guys...anybody has any idea about what was going on...?

my laptop was infected by virus few weeks ago, and whenever i put the typing cursor on the word or anywhere else, it will keep on typing '55555555555555555555555555555', until i format my laptop yesterday..but still...the 'virus' was not deleted....

Hello~

My residential area faced electricity failure last night....around few minutes only....since my computer was turned off...i switch off the wall plug too..and never switch it on until this morning....when i switch on my computer...i found all the icons and shortcut at desktop had dissapeared.....but when i open the 'desktop' folder.....those icons and shortcut was still there originally...anybody can help me to fix this problem....?
