Cost to Remove name from SnP

Hi All ShiFu and ProS,

Please help to advice on my situation,
SnP - Joint Name (Me & Ex)
Loan - Me only
Property Price - 360K
Loan 90%

I've meet the lawyer and i would like to remove my Ex name from SnP and he advice me to do a share purchase from her to own the whole property. Therefore he come out the costing for me to go thru,

Purchaser
Purchase half share = 180K
Professional charges - RM2000
Reimbursement - RM238
Disbursement - RM2910

Borrower (reapply for Loan)
Re-apply new loan = 360K
Professional charges - RM3777
Reimbursement - RM238
Disbursement - RM2530

Vendor
Professional charges - RM742
Reimbursement - RM238
Disbursement - RM246

and the grand total i have is RM12K ++
I was shock for this amount because what opinion i got from my friends about this should be taking me roughly 7-10k max. Is it normal ?

Good DAy to all Sifus and Taikos,

There is a situation from my friend, A and B were joint owner for Property A and mortgage under A's name only.
IF A would like to transfer ownership from joint to A's mother, will it be possilbe? If yes, then what's the procedure?
Please advise as i am so lost now..
