Multiple calls from broker trading companies

Guys,

Recently i received multiple calls and emails from numerous broker trading companies asking me to verify if i have indeed open a trading account.

Some of the companies are based in Europe and some of them in Australia.

As far as i know, i have never visit their website nor did i provide my personal details to anyone.

Did anyone faced the same issue and what can i do to stop this?

Grab at Bkt Jalil Area

guys..any idea why there is lesser grab rider (grabfood/grabexpress) near bukit jalil area since few weeks back?

i notice that it is very hard to order anything through grab as the restaurant will always be "unavailable for delivery" status

even when i try to order grabexpress, it will keep searching for rider and get cancelled eventually..

b) small kitchen sink (single basin), installed at dry kitchen

Tiles for bathroom

Guys, I'm planning to renovate my new condo and one of the thing that I wanted to do is changing the tiles of the bathroom.

I've been googling around, check Goucerra, white horse, feruni and mml website, went to few showrooms. Most of the tiles that I like is made of ceramic.

I wanna know if ceramic tiles suitable to be used in bathroom? Been reading that ceramic tiles is more porous and tends to absorb water, so I'm worry if it will cause water leakage or crack.

Pls advise and thanks.

Bifold vs sliding door

Sifu Sifu sekalian,

Wanna ask u guys for advice.

I'm planning to change the wooden door of the bathroom to either bifold or sliding door as there is no direct sunlight into it (the window is facing void).

I ask contractor and he advice to choose bifold as I can chiose different type of glass for the door and this allow light from bedroom (with big glass windows) to go in, but for sliding door, I can't choose the glass and it only allow small amt of light penetration.

Pls advise which is better in term of making the bathroom looks brighter and why..

Also, the door need to be able to sealed properly as I donwant insect to crept into the room through the bathroom..u know la..in Malaysia, insects are everywhere.

guys, need help here..
all this while i been using qvod for tvb drama downloading until they stopped the service and i move over to xunlei7.
the download speed was ok for initially as im getting 100kbps (using streamyx 1mb), but this 2 weeks, the download speed has been down to 30kbps max (upload speed can goes up to 40kbps)..any idea on this..?

cant rememver the movie title and just have some memory of the final part which goes like this..

its a 70s movie with settings in 70s and the dressed like 70s
its a tragic love movie in mandarin..

the actor and actress finally reunited after separated for some time..

Everyone in Norway became a theoretical krone millionaire on Wednesday in a milestone for the world's biggest sovereign wealth fund that has ballooned thanks to high oil and gas prices.
Set up in 1990, the fund owns around 1 percent of the world's stocks, as well as bonds and real estate from London to Boston, making the Nordic nation an exception when others are struggling under a mountain of debts.

A preliminary counter on the website of the central bank, which manages the fund, rose to 5.11 trillion krones ($828.66 billion), fractionally more than a million times Norway's most recent official population estimate of 5,096,300.

It was the first time it reached the equivalent of a million krones each, central bank spokesman Thomas Sevang said.

Not that Norwegians will be able to access or spend the money, squirreled away for a rainy day for them and future generations. Norway has resisted the temptation to splurge all the windfall since striking oil in the North Sea in 1969.

Finance Minister Siv Jensen told Reuters the fund, called the Government Pension Fund Global, had helped iron out big, unpredictable swings in oil and gas prices. Norway is the world's number seven oil exporter.

"Many countries have found that temporary large revenues from natural resource exploitation produce relatively short-lived booms that are followed by difficult adjustments," she said in an email.

The fund, equivalent to 183 percent of 2013 gross domestic product, is expected to peak at 220 percent around 2030.

"The fund is a success in the sense that parliament has managed to put aside money for the future. There are many examples of countries that have mot managed that," said Oeystein Doerum, chief economist at DNB Markets.

Norway has sought to avoid the boom and bust cycle by investing the cash abroad, rather than at home. Governments can spend 4 percent of the fund in Norway each year, slightly more than the annual return on investment.

Still, in Norway, oil wealth may have made the state reluctant to make reforms or cut subsidies unthinkable elsewhere. Farm subsidies allow farmers, for instance, to keep dairy cows in heated barns in the Arctic.

It may also have made some Norwegians reluctant to work. "One in five people of working age receives some kind of social insurance instead of working," Doerum said, despite an official unemployment rate of 3.3 percent.
