First occurence of problem: May 25-30
Problem frequency: Since
Problem description: Streamyx connection down. DSL not available (blinking).

Got my installation done (Streamyx in a box) in early may.Phone line was very bad(noise/buzz), telephone contractor recommended change wiring. Could still work though.
Configured everything and connection was good. No problems. Took me 10 mins.

Problem first surfaced around end-may, where frequent disconnections experienced.
Reboot modem, is OK.

few days later, totally dead. Tried repeatedly to re-boot modem. NO good. Reset modem (with p-clip) no change. Tehn decided to cehck phone line, totally dead (no tone, just noise).

Report to telekom, technician check and says internal wiring (apartment) kaput. OK, so get contractor to lay new wiring from riser to my unit. Phone now perfect.

Expected everything to be ok, but now a new peculiar problem:

PC off. DSL light, blinks (1-2) mins, then stabilises. Power on PC, Starts blinking again.
Test again this time, unplug RJ45 from modem, DSL blibks then stabilises. Plugin RJ45, ETH?ACT blinks and DSL blink continuously 30mis (still not stablised).

Reported to TMNET.
Can anyone help? Whats seems to be the cause.? Can't be the PC becauce it's new and seem to be working fine. (NIC says working fine in device manager).

btw I'm using an NVIDIA NForce4 mobo with onboard h/w firewall.
