MODERATORS OR ANY EXPERIENCED TRADERS/SELLERS/BUYERS IN LYN, PLEASE HELP

Hi there everyone here, I have a problem currently regarding with sales in Hobbies & Collectibles topic.

I have sold my Proyo to forumer C-Note. He bank in total amount of RM100.00 to me on 31st March 2011 9:56am, and I posted his item on 1st April 2011 3:50pm.

I didn't sent the item by pos laju because the staff at pos office mentioned that the item is small and very lightweight, and moreover pos laju already didn't accept any parcel during that time.

I went together with my mom, and she personally put the RM1.00 stamp on the item, then hand it over to the staff.

item = 2 Proyo, 1 normal yoyo and 1 yoyo holder sealed and packed in a mooncake box, plus a layer of brown paper.

But now is already 14th April 2011, and forumer C-Note has been pm-ing me few times about the item because he haven't received it until today.

So I went to pos office again on 11th April 2011 and check with their staff. However, they could not give me any confirmation because the item is not registered. I've contacted the pos malaysia customer service on 12th April 2011, and after checking through the details and recipient address, they insisted that the item is already confirm posted. They also told me that the only possibility of not receiving the item is that the postman cannot fit in the item into the postbox, so they keep the item in the nearest pos office to the recipient address.

And just around 5pm just now, forumer C-Note pm me again, saying that he already went to pos office and check with them, but the item is not there. He also says that if he didn't received the item by 25th April 2011, then I must refund for him.

I'm not a fulltime trader or whatever, but I have made quite a lot of successful online trading, whether it is sell or buy, and I really dont want a mere RM100.00 deal spoil my reputation as a forumer here and elsewhere.

If the item is still with me, I got no problem with the request of refunding the money, but now since the customer service has confirmed that the item has been posted, I really dont feel like refund.

I know it was my fault to post the item without register it with pos laju, but should I really refund the money?

Hi guys, good evening everyone in Cupid's Corner.

i have a friend who has been in some trouble lately regarding his love life (or whatever u wanna call it). he complained to me once in awhile, even though he usually keep this to himself. my advices are always the same, i talk until no saliva already, and he listen until boring already.

ok, this whole story may be quite long, but i try my best here to make this as simple and short as possible.

THE STORY BEGINS HERE:

A = my friend, male, 21 y/o, average look, start working soon
B = female, 19 y/o, average look, studying

A know B since 2007 during high school, just casual knowing, not even friends or classmates. A is like attracted to B from the 1st sight, but didnt say out to anyone because A is the malu type (a bit, not overly) of person, and another reason is that A is having SPM while B is having PMR during 2007.

so after finishing exam, A never got chance to meet B anymore, because B went to college.

A is very kolot, he even made a poem for B just to impress her. but afaik, A passed the poem to B's friend (because so ngam that day B absent), then hand it over to B, but B throw it away after reading.

in 2009, A sent a bouquet of roses, a box of chocolate and a card (with A's phone number) to the school for B during the week of Valentine's Day. but after 2-3 days, B sms A, scold A until very teruk, because the roses thing whole school already know, and made B very embarassing because she is also a prefect, must jaga self-discipline.

during 2008, 2009 and 2010, A tried his every efforts to get the information and contacts of B. A searched through annual school magazine, social networking website (those Friendster, Facebook etc) and even A asked around from his friends and schoolmates just to get info of B.

and finally, A got B's home address, telephone number, MSN and FB. then slowly, A started to contact B. but the sad thing is that, B told A that she already forget who is A, totally cannot recall. she remember the flower and chocolate and the poem, but she say she never know A.

A is always far far away from B because of college studies, but will go back to hometown during semester break. everytime A asked B to go out, B will give endless excuses. so during end of 2010, after so many times of asking, B finally agreed to go out with A. then of course A talked about what he has in his mind all these years. but 1 day before they went out, B sms A something like this:

"i still young, need freedom, temporary dont want any relationship to ikat me"

A is of course felt sad and disappointed, but seems like he never gave up on B. he always told me that already so many years, if he gave up now, then all previous efforts and waitings will just gone.

since end of 2010 til today, A only met B twice (another 1 time is for a seminar). always ask to go out, always got excuses from B.

then just few days ago, A is trying to ask B out again for makan and movie, this time B reply something like this:

"why not we go out with my friends? we dont know each other well enough yet, i prefer to go out with whole gang, know more people"

A dont even know how to reply B already, he felt very bad deep inside his heart.

but A later sms B that isnt it very awkward if like that? because A only want to meet B, not her friends. A dont even know her friends. the 1st time A and B met during 2010, B brought along her sister. A dont mind, but now A just want to be with B alone for a quiet chat and makan. in their 1st meeting, A dont even have chance to tell B the important things in his mind because got B's sister there.

A also always telling me that they both are Aries, but why B seems like very different in attitude and thinking from himself and his other Aries friends. well, i dont know much about this horoscope stuff, i didnt comment anything.

a few of A's friends already advice A to give up and spend his time on other girls. but A quite stubborn, dont give up. A asked B to come to his house during CNY 2011, she also gave excuses.

another few obstacles of their relationship based on my understanding:

1. A is Buddhist, B is Catholic
2. A's mother is not so open-minded, she don’t agree A paktor, and dislike B is Catholic
3. Even though their houses are just few KM apart, they seldom can meet each other, main reason is because B always giving millions of excuses, 2nd reason is because their location of study and working is far.

so the question is:

SHOULD A CONTINUE HIS BLIND EFFORT ON B, SLOWLY TAKING EACH STEP? OR HE SHOULD GIVE UP IMMEDIATELY?

i may be missed out some details here, but i already try to recall as much as possible. i really hope that all brother and sister here can help this poor guy.
