1Malaysia.com? Please, spare me.

I don't see how 1malaysia.com can ever beat Facebook, a global social networking service. This on the other hand, has a "Malaysian" name to it which will definitely restrict it to only MALAYSIANS and none other.

In addition, the concept of 1malaysia.com doesn't offer privacy at all. I scrolled through the site with no account whatsoever and I was able to see members' posts, videos, photos, etc. Talk about privacy statement.

Furthermore, the coding of the site itself is really no match as compared to Facebook which has reached a certain complexity where it is really user friendly and convenient. 1malaysia.com also does not offer chatting services.

Beat Facebook? Dream on.

Sleep Early, Wakeup Early /Sleep Late, Wakeup Late

Which is better? Sleeping early and waking up early or sleeping late (presumably in the morning 4-5am) and waking up late?
(Considering there are no obligations/appointments to fulfill.)

Computer Science or English Teaching?

I've just completed SPM and I'm in a dilemma on whether to further my studies in Computer Science or English Teaching.

I'm quite interested in both fields, but I favour Computer Science a little more than the other. However, I've heard from many people (teachers mostly) that teaching usually earns higher pay than "Computer Science". They added that most Computer Science graduates are jobless or are paid extremely low (I heard one was paid 800) and that teaching is in demand nowadays. That terrifies me; if I do Computer Science, what would I be if I end up jobless? They also said that the "Computer Science World" is very competitive and that the workload is unending; "no days, no nights". Personally, I doubt I'd mind spending most of my time in what I enjoy doing, but I can't be too sure of that just yet (because I usually do things that are only worth the effort).

Also, they've added that Computer Science requires a lot of solid Mathematics; I'm pretty average at Modern Math and Additional Math, I love logic gates (from Physics), but they've always reminded me that I need really strong Math to be able to excel in this particular field. That leaves me unsure of whether I'd be successful in this field or otherwise. (Though, I've been wondering about how other people who are weaker than me at Math get along in this field.)

On the other hand, I've encountered and heard of many English teachers who are simply not qualified to teach English at all. They have no strong grammar and sometimes even get them wrong! Some of their teaching skills are also really simple, exercises after exercises of simple English and afterwards, have the students to mark their answers as the teacher reads the answers aloud. Therefore, better English teachers are obviously required (if not in colleges then at least in primary or secondary schools).
On the contrary, I fear that a few years down the road with teaching, the boredom starts sinking in and I'd feel like quitting my job. That would definitely demotivate me at my work, thus, putting an end to a bright and successful career (and perhaps life?). Furthermore, I also fear the complexity of the English literature component that I'll have to master while furthering my studies in this field.

And so, back to the question, Computer Science or English Teaching?

Sound Card?

I wanna buy a sound card because mine is faulty. (When I plug in any of my audio devices, only the left side makes noise and the right doesn't. And if I loosen the connection/jack it will be mono sound.) What difference do sound cards make? Do they change the sound quality? I'm using a headset and not speakers.. so should I get a better sound card or should I just get a cheap one?
