We always complain, but surely there are positive aspects that make us stay with our job.

For me.... 11 years in.

Work life balance
very solid daily schedule. reach office 7:20, leave 5:15. weekends and holidays 100% disconnect.

No jam route
30km distance, 30 mins drive.

Reporting to oversea ang moh
Good leadership style, good enpowerment and trust. we align priorities using just 1 hour teams meeting each week.

SmartTag lane take out fly swatter TnG card

Those bugger who go to the SmartTag lane when they don't have the device. Only to wind down their windows, take out their TnG card, slowly, elegantly, with the TnG card stuck onto a fly swatter. There weren't even many cars in other TnG counters, like only 2 - 3 cars in queue. What's their mentality? Or this is a very acceptable behaviour and I am the one mental?

A question on NCD transfer

Hi everyone, please help me to clarify something on NCD transfer when buying a new car.

My current car insurance expires in June, and that's when it touches the 5th year for 55% NCD. So.. if I am to get a new car now, what's the best way to go about doing the insurance thing?
I'm thinking something like transferring the NCD to new car, and topping up the current insurance until June. Then renew again in June. Is this correct?

What's the best way to deal with the SA on this?

Is it my absorber?

Need you guys advice.

One morning, when going over a bump, the car sway left and right when going up, and when it touches down the passenger side goes lower than the right side. The feeling is as though the car went over a sharp bump at an angle, like the one when exiting the Singapore custom (i know not everyone knows this)

That was a month ago, the problem went away after a few days, but now when cruising on the highway, the car bounces up and down and make me want to puke.

I suspect mainly is the absorber going out. But of cause wouldn't hurt to ask first.
I also want to understand if I get replacements, it's ok to use back the stock springs? I'm on a budget

Other "problems" with the car is:
- lots of road noise (could be the tyres or the absorber too?)
- noisy engine when acelerating, with slight vibration. Cruising is OK, engine can barely be heard.

Car is Hyundai Accent 04.
