Hi guys..

All folder icons in Finder (Network, User, Applications, Documents, Music, Pictures) are all gone, and there is only the words. In the application folder about half the installed applications do not have icons, but only text. well basically it works but its not there like icon is gone. I've been searching thru the net but nothing seem to solve the problem..had numerous time deleting the apple.*****.plist thingy and restart but no luck. any idea? fyi my osx ver is 10.6.8.

last activity i did on my mac was uninstalled Aperture yesterday...did that caused me this problem? Any idea to fix this?

[addedon]July 7, 2011, 9:40 am[/addedon]Case resolved. Reinstalled OSX. Moderator may close this thread. TQ.

Which email client best applied on MAC?

Hi all..

My concern is which email client that is best applied on MAC? Im currently using Mac Mail and Microsoft Entourage to retrieve my office mail from exchange server. After using it about a month, i found out both hv pro & con..(no offense though...this is just me). Both nvr gives prob to me on the send & receive part. i've tried both but the problem was;

1. entourage..the best part for me was it can download emails from outside the intra network..so i could even receive mails when im not even in my office. but the lack part is whenever i replied email which contain form attachments, it wont copy the form, text only and there was a notification that sound something like "for security reason entourage has blocked submission of form". ive googled it and found the walkthrough on how to enable it but i do not understand certain steps given which i need to change the strings, delete and what not..and entourage also cannot accept the CA which ive done downloaded it..

2. when i switched to Mail, all those stupid CA, forms, security had never bugging me at all. The mail runs smoothly without those annoying things. But on Mail, i couldnt connect outside my office network. i did try to setup it similar to entourage but failed. for example : on entourage i just typed in mail.example.com on the server exchange but on Mail it wont work. But it does work on my iPhone 3GS. if it does have the setting to do it..i would be grateful if someone can guide me..

3. Option 3..else if both cannot be solved..what are the best email client that suit my needs as above mentioned?
