Electrical Appliance In Carrefour

I bought a kettle from Carrefour on Oct 2011 but it was spoilt yesterday. I've sent my kettle to Carrefour to claim warranty but their customer service told me that I've to send to factory because they only allow customer to make the claim within 7 days from date of purchase. If I'm staying at outstation and the factory located at KL, is it I have to travel all the way to KL to make the claim? If like that, my travel expenses definitely is higher than kettle price. So, is it meaning that all electrical appliance buy from Carrefour didn't provide warranty claim after 7 days?

If this is truth, I think the consumer should not buy those products are provide warranty in Carrefour.

Hi! Just want to compare bi-fold door and PVC door for bathroom. Which one cheaper and nicer? I found that it's hard to find custom made PVC door compared to bi-fold door. Any commend?

Do I need get the approval from MPSA?

I would like to do some renovation inside my house like to lay floor tile at car porch, change existing parguet to tile (including hacking), to do plaster ceiling, wiring and counter top without any extension.

So, do I need to get approval from MPSA?

If I did not apply for permit and neighbour complain to MPSA, MPSA can summon me or not?
