UNMC Gaming Society looking for sponsors

Hey,

We are looking for sponsors to get our Gaming Society (University of Nottingham) sponsored for either a tournament or the whole year (every event is gonna have your ad. in our posters), we are expecting a turnout of around 500 students.

Any help (contacts, suggestions etc.) will be appreciated.

Help!, Motherboard faulty?

Hey,

I had this Asus M2n8-vmx mobo for a while (running fine) , i bought it along to malaysia last month!

So this week I just bought this new CM-690 casing with a 400W PSU (coolermaster too), and assembled everything !

but my mobo just switches on and then shuts down after 2 sec.!

and btw! back in UAE (where I came from) I was using a stock cooler, while now I switched to an Akasa evo 120!

I tried everything, taking of one of the Ram modules, CMOS clear, removing the VGA.....

I had a 350W PSU back in UAE! so no power problems here!

I also removed (and wasted a lot of ) Thermal paste thrice!!

So my guess, the mobo is effed up due to Static, or According to the manual, " connecting the case 1394 cable to the usb connector
might damage the MOBO" and I connected the case 1394 (firewire) cable to it in the first place b4 powerup!

and one more thing, the last time I din use my PC for like 3months (vacations), I had the same problem, but got fixed automatically!

So did I just waste RM400 on the CM690 + PSU ??

or Is there a workaround for this ??

SF4 arcade in Malaysia ?

Hey,

I was just wondering if there is any SF4 arcade cabinet in Malaysia, Ive just been here for like a month and din find any ,
all I see is Tekken 6 and MVC2

Do ya guys know, any arcade location in Malaysia ?
