Car loan settlement

Hi guys,

Now I'm in the process of trading in my old car for a new car.

The remaining loan amount for my old car is RM23700. I checked with bank, after rebate, I need to settle about RM21700.

The new car dealership takes in my old car for RM28500. I need to pay another RM7200 of remaining deposit for my new car.

My assumption of the balance I need to pay the dealership is

RM7200 - (RM28500 - RM21700) = RM 400

However, the dealership says I need to top up this amount

RM7200 - (RM28500 - RM21700) = RM 2400.

He said that once the second hand dealer sells my old car, they will settle the loan with the bank. The loan rebate amount will not be return to me.
Why is this so? I feel a bit cheated. I don't understand why they absorb the rebate, since loan is under my name.

another question, I use standing instruction to deduct monthly installment from my bank account for my old loan. So, since the second hand dealer might sell my old car only in a month or two, will the loan still be active and the standing instruction will continue deduct installment from my account?
So, I should order the bank to cancel this standing instruction?

Really confused.

Enquiry on computer services business

I'm not sure where I should post this, but I think since I'm enquiring abt market rate of a business, I think it's appropiate if I post it in this section.

Anyways, let's go to the issue.

I am abt to deal abt a computer maintenance services for a computer learning centre of capacity 50 computers. Since I've never done this as a form of business, I'm not sure what service are included in the term "computer maintenance". I assume it should be any services that are necessary to keep the client's computer up to date and problem free and operating efficiently....

So, guys, I would like to know if any of you have been involved in providing such services of similar nature and I would like to know your opinions on the rate that I should charge for performing computer maintenance on 50 computers ( just service charges, charges for hardware and software licensing issues are separate cases).

Just wanted to know since I don't want to be the person to start offering such services at a rate far lower than the market rate, don't want to spoil the computer service provider market....

EDIFIER M3300 problemo

I think i have a problem with my edifier M3300. I think i had this problem from the start i bought it but didnt realized it. After shutting off the speaker for a day or so....when i on back again, the left speaker sound is very light (almost none) compared to the right speaker. i tot it was a satellite problem so i switch both sides but then it seems the left output to the speaker itself is like tat. The only way i seem to be able to get both side at the same volume level (amplified) is to pull the serial port like connector and then put it back in. This will turn produce quite loud burst of static noise but after tat it works find on both sides. But i worry that this burst of noise is not good if i keep on doin it every time. Sumtimes if the bass knob is turn more than half and i put on loud musics (80% volume on software setting and 60% volume on speaker remote control knob), the left side tend to off itself and stop amplifying the music (very light sound). Is this a problem for the speaker since it has been running like tat for almost 7 months. Any Edifier M3300 user face such problems?
