The advanced GE60 and a sexy pair of legs

Sharing another MSI GE60 review from Taiwan users~

After searching the Forum boards for a long time and reading everything I could get my hands on, I finally decided to buy the GE60. It’s pretty much the most popular and most discussed gaming notebook on the boards. It may not be the most high-end notebook out there, but it’s plenty for me, and the exterior is really stylish.

As a wise man once said, “If you're going to do it, go all the way.” As a long-time lurker, I want my first post to go viral, so I asked my long-legged hot friend Jin to be my model. At first she protested, but after I reasoned with her (or rather, after bribing her with ten milk teas), she finally agreed to do it as long as she didn’t show her face. (What the heck is that about?! But hey, check out the "Director's cut" at the end.)

OK, that’s enough talk. Let’s get on with the show.

Inside is another box with a backpack.

I have a few notebook carrying cases, but this is my first backpack and I really like it.

Top Player – Top Choice

It comes with a black non-woven protective cloth sleeve.

Here’s an overview of the accessories. There’s a gaming mouse, battery, warranty book, driver disc, manual, and power cable.

I’ve heard that the power source is smaller and lighter than earlier versions.

I got the red one, which I like better than the blue. It lights up when you use it.

I finally have the notebook computer of my dreams.

I may still be a poor grad student, but I’m crazy about computer games, especially first-person shooters like Crisis 3, Call of Duty, and BF3. My old computer wasn’t fast enough for these resource hogs, so I always had to set the graphics and performance to the lowest settings when I played them. My girlfriend gave me an unexpected birthday surprise--an MSI GT70 Dragon Edition II gaming notebook. I will be able to type out reports in class and when I get home I will be able to game with the graphics and performance settings maxed out. I’m so thrilled that I decided to commemorate this momentous occasion by having my girlfriend do the box-opening.

She’s camera shy, so we’ve invited Shaun the Sheep along to give her moral support.

Upon opening, we find a plastic-wrapped backpack and a box with the MSI logo.

Let’s take a look at the backpack first.

It’s really spacious.

It looks really sharp

In the cardboard box, we find the notebook wrapped in black sheaths with an MSI gaming logo.
