Hi all, I'm looking for companies or training centers that provide technical training courses on electrical and mechanical conducts for machinery maintenance technicians, preferably in Klang Valley area. Trainings including practical hands-on practices is preferable.

Also would be great if there are courses for PLC systems such as Beckhoff TwinCat or Sigmatek Varan. Thank you.

can't boot into hard drive nor cd-rom

ok it all started with this bsod. Now thanx to our friend badminto I've confirmed (for now) that the culprit is the wireless card.

The only problem now is I can't take any further actions since I can't boot into my hard drive nor into cd-rom. After BIOS screen, the screen black tone (dunno how to explain it ) changes which you can normally notice when the windows are booting up. Sadly the screen remains black. Note that the BIOS detects both drive and cd-rom.

I appreciate any advice from dear forummers.

HELP! Regain access for data

well, not really in the i386 folder. the i386 itself can't be opened or deleted. pls refer to the attached pic. note the root of the folder in the address bar.

I accidently dragged an important folder into this folder (using laptop touchpad ). And while it was there I can't access the data inside because I don't have the user privilege or something like that. Then somehow I managed to "pull" the folder back out by using system restore, but I still cannot access or move the data inside.

Can someone help me please? Btw the folder is in an external hard drive.

So basically I just added a new Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5tb to my system yesterday, which already consists of two drives.

After I've mounted the drive in, formatted it and transferred some data to it, I restarted my pc and then I realized my bootup time take a little longer. Before it was like around 2mins until ALL application has started, now it takes another 30secs or so longer. And what's more, the welcome screen takes more time (about 7 secs) until it switches to desktop. Defragmentation also did nothing. I didn't install any new programmes.

So the question is, is it normal that the startup time takes longer with more hard drives? Or is it really due to this particular Seagate drive? (it's a ST31500341AS one)

i just read a thread about hdd suddenly goes undetected possibly due to low-end PSU, so i might as well ask here to make sure before anything goes wrong

my current specs:

-ASUS P5Q3
-Core2Quad Q9400 @ stock (no OC)
-Palit GeForce 9800gt (no OC)
-2*Corsair DDR3 1gb RAM
-1 WD 250gb and 1 WD 500gb HDD
-LC Power LC6600 600W PSU

currently planning to get an additional 1,5tb HDD plus an XFX radeon HD 4870 for replacement gc is already on it's way to me.

so will my 600W psu be enough or should i upgrade?
pls help
