I got an offer to work in Bermuda, wondering anyone here who is wrking or has work there-wanted some insights from fellow malaysian.

Probation notice period

Hye all. My wife currently in a probation period in one of the local SME, to my suprise, it was stated in her contract that in probation period if she want to leave must put 2 month notice or pay in liue.

Doesnt this normal ? In labour law can this happen? I find it 2 months is a bit too much.

Should i go for it ?

As salam and hi guys.

I just want your opinion about my current situation.

I just hit 4 years mark on my first job, which is system analyst /analyst programmer @ local bank. So around OCT last year I have been updating my resume and last month I received 1 offer from commercial bank. I have signed the offer n tender my resignation for 3 months.
Just after I signed the offer, I got a called from BNM – to sit for assessment / interview for the same job title…and last week i call bnm HR and they told me I was put on reserved , and they will put me for future vacancy.
But last Friday I got a call and they have invited me to do the process again –but this time for IT Audit.
I said yes and they will send an email for the details. The thing is, I know nothing about audit, beside been audited - plus my passion really in IT .
I want to say to the HR –I want to try next year , want to gain more skill and whatnot etc etc, but this afraid to lose the opportunity

So here’s the dilemma – should I proceed with it ? its BNM .I do want to works there but not in Audit. If so, if coming from iT dev to IT audit has advantage ?, how about my career path if walk down this path?

Of course if they hired me lah…
