Now after a few months of practicing, I feel like progressing towards an electric guitar now, juz like i wanted to ever since i was a kid... So here i am... Needing advice on what would be a good choice... Please and thanks for the help...<br /><br />Anyways, i went to the nearest guitar store i could find and listed out some potentials, mind that it is juz a list of what i saw, and not what i want....<br /><br />Guitars: Ibanez - GRG170- This one im most impressed seems to have alot of features.<br /> GAX30- The first guitar shown to me, was told its very popular.<br /> GAX70- Juz like the GAX30 but has a whammy bar. Has a nice look too....<br /> <br /> Jackson - JS20 - Looks cool, but it dosent really give an electric guitar feeling to me.<br /><br /> ESP - &#39;LTD F-10 Pack&#39; - This i saw in a different shop and was told it&#39;s good for beginners, but i dont know, <br /> read that it shouldnt be trusted... <br /><br />Amps: Roland - Cube30X - Looks the coolest to me cuz of all its features... Expensive though....<br /> <br /> Marshall - MG10 and MG15 - Both seems fine, but with less features.....<br /><br /> Kustom - (This the name im not too sure), think its &#39;Arrow16&#39;...<br /><br /><br /><br />So here&#39;s most of what caught my attention, if you all have any other suggestions or any comments, pls do... <br /><br />So a bit of info, i aint exactly good with the guitar, nor am i a beginner, playing the guitar is a hobby thing... As for what songs i would like to play, its mostly like the nowdays contemporary band music like All American Rejects, Greenday, Red Hot Chilli Peppers... etc, alternative rock... Not hard rock... But blues sounds kinda cool too, juz for fun... One song i&#39;ve always wanted to play is Sweet Child O&#39; Mine... So if the guitar and the amp, can play that nicely, im happy enough... Another is &#39;The Adventure&#39; by Angels and Airwaves, yeah really liked their starting but it seems like it sounds with the echo feature some amps have... Also, Looking for guitar and/or amps with a number of features, cause it seems worth spending, and to tell the truth, will make it alot more fun.... <br /><br />So thats all, haha, hope it aint too much trouble in helping me here.... Btw, If you could include the estimated price for the guitar and/or amps suggested and where&#39;s the best place to get it, please do... I&#39;m around KL area... And also, what do you think should be the estimated price for the stuff listed up here... I did read some earlier posts on electric guitars, but now i decided to try my luck and ask myself...
