My Dell warranty expired :(

Hi... I have a Dell XPSM1530. 2 months ago, the warranty expired but I didn't pay attention. In between that the computer magically got lots of new problem like constant hard disk failure (if I leave the laptop by itself for more than 15 minutes it stalls, need to restart) and the right speaker died. When I wanted to get it repaired only then I found out my warranty is dead.

Can I buy a new warranty just like that? I noticed the website said it needs recertification (RM121 ) and it said the hardware needs to be checked ( ) which probably means they would not allow me to buy warranty if they found out about all the failures to the laptop ( )

If not... can I just bring to some usual computer shop to repair? I remember my friend told me that nobody repairs Dell except Dell themselves... and I rather get this repaired than buy a new one completely.

Thanks in advance...
