So the 3 series is coming and everyone knows where this is going. As a newbie who isn't well versed in graphic cards or the market I would like to ask the following:

1. How much can I sell a 2nd hand Rog Strix 1080 ti and a Galax 1050 ti at this time? No OC, Full box set.

2. Should I sell it now or after the new gen is released?

Comp booting issue after adding new ram[SOLVED]

So I bought a new Kingston hyperx DDR4 8gb ram 2400mhz from shopee, exactly the same model as my existing(only) ram to increase the total size to 16gb since nowadays that's basically the recommended minimum.

but my computer after installing the new ram it goes into either a boot cycle or it gets stuck at 'preparing automatic repairs'. I tried removing the ram n the computer boots just fine, I tried moving ALL the rams into different slots n tried booting, same issue.

Than like the 6th time, cause I was desperate n didn't want to have to go through a refund process, I tried putting the rams in the 1st(black) and 2nd(red) slots, which upon booting it goes to 'diagnosis system' or smtg like that and then it boots just fine. FYI, I tried the rams in these exact slots before and it got stuck at 'preparing automatic repairs'.

I haven't release payment yet via shopee cause I wanna know did it boot out of pure luck and should I ask for a replacement/refund as it may be a ram issue or smtg I don't know entirely.

Appreciate the help.

Date of transaction: COD at KL sentral on the 3 December 2015

Details of the complaint : in regards to the hd6950....it was stated in the thread itself it was unlocked to a hd6970..so i was prepared for some problems with bios etc...however in whatsapp he promised to test the item first , so i assumed it was in good working condition with no faults..

after i got the item, i realized the 2nd vga port was faulty(confirmed)...also the bios was completely messed up...errors included were 'testvbios' on screen 24/7 as well as the clock speed was at a standard 250mhz.....these two errors were self-fixed though by me by flashing the bios back to the stock bios..so the only problem that persist is the faulty vga port....its not a major problem but i feel that he should have mentioned them and realised them during his 'test'..

Edit:on cod he promised to replace incase of any faults. Last week he promised this week, however, i am yet to hear from him since last week.

update: was contacted by Emimarson, agreed to make replacement on sunday 5pm

once upon a time at the salak selatan lrt station,

while waiting for the lrt there was this couple few feet away from me having a loud heated argument in a language i didnt understand and a bit later the guy was grabbing her arm and pulling her.

at first i watched then i just put on my earphones and ignored it by drowning out, after their argument got even louder
i looked at them n looked at the lrt security guards standing at their booth watching as well, i didnt do anything and hoped the guards would step in since its not my place to intervene , but the guards just stood and watch and some even had a laugh...then they got on the train in a different coach n end of story

should i have stepped in when the guards didnt?

short version:

couple had loud argument at lrt station and it got a bit physical with grabbing and pulling, i didnt do anything hoping the guards would..but they (like me) just stood and watch..nobody did anything...am i wrng for nt intervening when the guards didnt ?

recently i realized the metal piece(i dont knw what you call it)in one side of my hammerhead is missing, i use the headset daily n i dont mess with it just purely use it for listening to music on my phone..

in the picture u can see(hopefully,sry for bad quality) one side the metal piece covering the top of it is missing..can i claim warranty for this from the shop and have it(as in the headset) replaced? its only around 4-5 months old...
