Not able to surf some websites

Currently not able to surf some websites in the U.S, for example iMore.com

However, if I change to Google DNS, I can surf it.

In such case, what is the issue? Is it the ip given by maxis is bad?

Can anyone help to try if they are able to surf iMore.com?

Weird Wifi issue

Recently maxis technician came to my house, forcing me to change to the new, black maxis router.

After about 3 weeks, a very weird wifi issue surfaced.

I've no problem with Lan connection, only the wifi.

The wifi signal is good, and when using speedtest on wifi via ookla on my ipad, it shown good ping, download and upload speed.

However, I am not able to browse the internet etc.

I tested everything from changing channel, on and off the modem and router, still not able to solve it.

Then I off the the modem and router for a few hours, and then it's working fine.

I am not sure if the issue will be repeated itself, as now the internet is only up about one hour.

Fyi, there is no such issue with my old thompson square white router for many years.

Anyone with the new maxis router having this issue? Can you please share your experience.

I am worry this weird wifi issue would hit me during raya period and I would be without wifi for a looong period!

Your help appreciated.

no DSL light on TM Huawei modem

Yesterday 3am suddenly my FTTH no internet connection... upon checking, the DSL light is off on the TM Huawei modem

After doing the routine reinstallation on 192.168.1.254, still the same... the message is:-
Concentrator not reachable

It come back on 1pm and then at 5pm it went off again, with no DSL light on the TM Huawei modem.

I turn both equipments off and the DSl light come back, connection ok.

After about 30 minutes, the DSL light gone again.

Then after 30 minutes, I off and on again, it comes back again.

It looks like the something is wrong with the TM Huawei modem. Anyone of you guys encounter this issue before?

for the tm guy to change the TM Huawei modem, how long does it takes for you guys?

pls help! Thank you.

it's shocking to know the customer service is as poor as 8 months ago when I 1st installed ftth... after waiting for so long, no one picking up the phone at technical dept, so the helpdesk say will call me back after 1 hour... after 6 hours also never call back

i've to call them up myself and since it most probably has to do with TM Huawei modem, they can't do anything and has to wait for TM guy... waiting time for TM to response is 48 hours

for those who is awaiting for astro on maxix ftth, pls think twice... imagine ur internet connection is off for two days and u do not have astro for the same period as well... back to the cave for two days! at least with separate line, u got astro to watch!
